Poliwrath saw its opportunity and defeated Hitmontop with Dynamic Punch.
Weiter was Spinelli's turn to battle Butch. His Hitmontop started out with Close Combat, which Machamp quickly fought back against with Karate Chop. Eventually, Hitmontop was defeated Von Machamp.
