Those commercials are already disturbing enough!

I'm fine with small surgeries here and there, but having major surgeries that completely change your face and body are just too much.

Some surgeries are used for someone can have a more normal life.

Fixing cleft palates is not something I have a problem with

I personally wouldn't get it but who am I to tell others what to do. That and there are some instances where it could be useful. For example; a man or woman gets into a horrid car crash and is left scarred or disfigured. Plastic surgery could be used to help the person look how he or she used to or help get them closer to it. If that's what the person wants to do.

Nope. Whether it be for cosmetic reasons or for reconstruction after an accident or birth defect reasons, I don't have a problem with it.
I get a bit iffy about people who get addicted to it and become unrecognisable though.

Hmm, idk. It just doesn't feel like I really have much to say or judge on. Like I get that people can go through accidents and have the option to do plastic surgery. I get that some people just want to look a certain way, like the guy that wanted to look like the Ken doll. I found it weird, but I guess if he liked it then sure. Although, he stopped because of issues.
Then sometimes people just hit that uncanny valley. Just doesn't look very well. Too smooth. As like the Ken example, it can have risks.

It irks me a little bit when people are so vehemently opposed to it. It isn't something anyone can tell anyone else to do or not to do, and it honestly hurts literally no one. I understand not liking it on a personal level and not wanting to get any sort of surgery yourself- that's fine- but I hate it when I see people trying to make others feel bad for wanting/getting cosmetic surgery. Not everyone is good at embracing their flaws or living in spite of it, so for some people it's a necessary part of gaining self-confidence and having peace of mind with their appearance.
It's especially important for some trans people who experience dysphoria with their face. A woman who's work I've followed for a few years now recently underwent FFS, and she's in such a better state of mind with her appearance now than she ever was before her surgery. For her, it was just as much about improving her mental state than looking a certain way. Actually, I'd say it was more about that. It was necessary for her health.

I can see this being somewhat true for cisgendered people who choose to undergo cosmetic surgery as well. It might not be to the same extent, but a person just can't get over the things about their appearance that they can't sttand and it causes them discomfort, then they have the right to undergo surgery. Even if it's extreme and even if other people don't like it.

Honestly, if I had the money I'd correct my breasts (kinda TMI, I know). So I get why people who do have the money are willing to go under the knife.

Let people do what they want honestly

Let people do what they want, if it doesn't affect me or other people negatively then I see nothing wrong with it
