A group of men rescue a goat after it was found dangling from an overhead cable by its horns

A video has emerged of the moment a goat hanging precariously from an overhead cable by its horns was rescued by a group of men.

In a first unsuccessful attempt, the men hooked a ladder under the goat\'s legs and tried to push him back towards the hillside in Sykourio, Greece.

But after the ladder fell to the ground, the men attached a rope to the goat\'s leg and were able to reel him along the wire to safety.

The goat was a little dazed after the ordeal but soon went on its way.
