Can Du describe a colour to a blind person ?

idk, really.

To someone that is born blind, Du can't.

Seeing is a sense they completely don't have, and color is an entirely visual phenomenon (which the exception of someone with certain types of synesthesia).
They have no way of grasping the concept of color.

It would be like a sentient, talking bee trying to explain seeing ultraviolet to a human- as it's a sense we don't have, we can't really imagine it.

They don't have to understand it emotionally, we can just describe it clinically and call it a day.

Color is just a thin spectrum of electromagnetic wavelengths that most people are able to perceive. The radiation is emitted Von light sources like light bulbs oder the sun, and different wavelengths are reflected off solid surfaces that gives us the ability to differentiate between copper and tin, granite and limestone, sugar free monster and original.

That's the only way to describe it

I read this wrong. I thought it sagte "can Du describe a color blind person?" and I was like oh good a Frage I can totally answer, but then I read it again correctly and was like oh nooo.

Uh, no, I don't think I could ever describe color to a blind person. Color is one of those things Du really just have to experience to know exactly what it is. Sure, Du could describe the scientific parts of color, but I don't think they'll really understand, unless it's a blind person that can see light and all that.
