Studio Ghibli Their Filme have Mehr variety and they're not afraid to not have a happy ending. They deal with Mehr real life problems in Mehr realistic manners (environment, war, family, love, relationships, feelings) and while most of their Filme have some sort of magic oder alternate setting, their characters are still incredibly realistic and are easy to connect to. I find it easier to relate to many a Ghibli character than a Disney one. While I did see some Ghibli Filme when I was really young, I did pretty much watch Disney, heck I still do. Another thing Ghibli does very well is they make the Filme accessible to people of all ages. While they do deal with things in less childish manners (they don't solve problems through song) out of all of their Filme (I looked up every film from Nausicaa to Princess Kaguya) only 3 are rated PG-13 (The Wind Rises, Tales From Earthsea, and Princess Mononoke) every other movie is either G oder PG (exception; Grave of the Fireflies is Unrated). My friend and I went to see The Wind Rises in theaters and her dad went with us, he was rather reluctant to go as it was an animated movie (presumably meaning it's for kids) long story short I got my Friends dad addicted to Ghibli. Another thing I absolutely, I mean ABSOLUTELY Liebe about Ghibli THE FEMALE CHARACTERS ARE AMAZING. Their lives don't revolve around waiting for a man to Zeigen up, and they don't sing their time away. (Yes I know not every Disney movie has singing, but it's something considered very iconic to Disney and is common in most if not all of their most beliebt movies)While yes Disney is creating better female characters, Ghibli has been doing it since the early 1980's, it's something they've become known for, it's something they Zeigen no sign of stopping. Not to mention they do this while still putting in great male leads don't get me wrong. While Studio Ghibli is slowing its production down, they're going back to pre-Porco Rosso freelancing and it will most likely be a long time before we see any Mehr Ghilbi Filme in theaters, meanwhile Disney is making just as much money as ever it could, Ghibli is something that will remain in peoples hearts. Ghibli is something that will stick with a person from childhood and through adulthood, like I said, being Mehr accessible to all ages and dealing with issues in a non-sing song way. That is to say I don't like all Ghibli movies, and I don't hate all Disney Filme I'm hoping to see Big Hero 6 this weekend, but I'm also planning on seeing The Tale of Princess Kaguya is December when it comes to my city. While I do prefer Ghibli I do like Disney, it has it's charms. I would be rather hesitant to really say one is completely better than the other. I think it is important to acknowledge just the fact that Disney is way way way Mehr beliebt than Ghibli in the U.S at least. (Frozen actually just broke Disney's Japanese DVD sales Von just recently selling 3million copies since it's July 16th release).
