I'm in new Jersey. The winds are getting really high because it sounds like ppl screaming. A lot of trees fell down. The electricity didn't go out yet for me but the lights are blinking. :\

Yep!! I live in New York. But, I actually really like the hurricane!! Due to it, there's no school today oder tomorrow, and the sounds of the wind and rain is peaceful...
Not me. Nothing ever happens here... the tornadoes are always a bit further out on the plains, the wildfires are always closer to the mountains, and there is no ocean. Not that I want anything to happen, but yeah...
I live in Maryland so yes, I am being effected. :/ Floods and no schools and state governments are down. Eastern Coast is effected. Sandy is worst than Irene. We are not allowed to drive WHAT SO EVER. The sad thing is people are making fun out of this.
