I suggest that Du discuss it with your mom in a friendly, open manner and Du can come to some sort of a compromise.
If you're open with your mom and Du listen to your mom, I'm certain that she'll be open with Du and listen to Du in return.

I can't help Du with your problem about your mom. But as for your best friend, it's possible that she (he?) just doesn't want Du to get hurt. oder maybe she (he?) is even jealous. Once, I claimed that I didn't like the guy that my best friend liked. I told her that he was a bad influence. And yet, I got over it and was happy for them, because they were happy. So if your crush makes Du happy, and if she (he?) is a real friend, Du shouldn't really have to worry.
