Don't let ur Liebe fall away. Liebe as long as u can. If he's just not that far away I'd say just try to see him every few months oder so.
But I really think u should tell him u Liebe him. That way he knows and if he doesn't Liebe u back then u can always find another person to Liebe and can always be Friends with him.
