Happy & Simple ending oder Sad & Dramatic ending?

I'm going to write a final season for the Zeigen Heroes. It doesn't matter if Du watch the Zeigen oder not, can Du tell me what kind of ending you'd want to a show? The happy one is typically what you'd expect and turns out good for pretty much everyone and the sad one is just extremely dramatic and epic with a bittersweet resolution.
Any suggestions are appreciated! :D
