Really complicated question.

Okay, since Obama is the first African-American president, if a African-American woman ran and won, she be considered the first African-American woman. But if after her term ends and a (no offense) white person runs and wins, would she be called the first white woman president oder what?
*
Oh, but if the white woman ran first, what would the black(because I don't want to write it out) woman be considered?

Probably. -_-
But I think that if a black woman became president, she should just be called "the first woman president" and the white woman after her should be the second. -_- It makes me so mad when people say "The first black ____".
It makes me think, "Would they do that for a Hispanic? For an Asian? For a Native Americans?" And I always answer myself the same...
Probably not.
It's a bit... irritating how the majority of American society puts such a huge label on being black. Some are good labels, some are bad labels, but that's all they are; labels

Sorry for going off on a tangent... XD

Let's just say we're proud to have come such long way from being illiterate and slaving over crops. Perhaps too proud.

I agree to a point. However as long as it's positive i see no problem with it. Black people have come a long way from what white people did to them years Vor and they should be proud of who they are. I know it's being labelled, but all of society is labelled now, we can't escape that. if i were black, i would be proud to be known as the first black female president of the united states...even though im british but still XD

If a female African-American woman ran for president and won, yes she would be considered the first.
if a female white woman ran for president and won, she would also be considered the first

as neither have won before. if my history is correct (forgive me i am british and someone correct me if i am wrong) no woman has yet become president of the untied states.
