Just because Du break up with someone doesn't mean Du stop liking them. I still care about many of my exes, even if we did break up. I mean, there was a reason Du dated, an attraction between Du two. Those attractions don't always just die.

And plus, if Du broke up with him, then it's possible he still really likes Du and wouldn't have wanted the relationship to end at all.
