How do Du say,"Dude,you're my BEST friend!" in French?

this is what i got from the Google translator...but Du cant always trust online translators;

dude vous êtes mon meilleur ami!

It's "Mec, tu es mon meilleur pote!"

"vous" is ok but it's when Du don't really know the person so Du should say "tu"

TeamSongz4eva is right...I'm taking french and I learned that 'vous êtes' means 'you are' oder Du can say "Dude, tu es mon meilleur ami!", depending on who Du are talking to.
