How do Du feel about people who make spots about themselves?

Fanpop forbids them, and i persoanlly think they are pointless. i mean, what is different about a personal spot that your own Profil can't offer? if Du want fans, ask people to Fan your profile. if Du want to organize your Favorit content, there is a feature on almost everything that allows Du to save it to your profile, Von the content type. if Du want to attract attention, open a Forum oder Abschicken content! Fanpop forbids them because Fanpop itself has a massive fanbase, and if everyone had their own fanclub, it would overrun the site, causing it to slow down oder crash, which would be a bad thing all around!

I have a spot for myself. I think of it as just a spot Du Mitmachen if you're a good friend of that person.

I don't mind people who have their own spots. It makes it easier to find them.

I feel like asking "Who are Du and why do Du have a spot about yourself?" Not a big problem really (as long as the guy does not post too much personal information; Du got to look out for them as fellow Fanpoppers).

Yeah, there's nothing WRONG with it apart from the fact that this isn't the intended purpose of Fanpop. Read the link oder even the link if Du don't believe me.

I'm sorry, but Fanpop is for joining Fanclubs where people share a common interest in (hence "What are Du a Fan of"), not social networking place where Du try to meet people and compete for the number of Fans in YOUR spot oder post stuff about day. Keep that to other places like MySpace oder Facebook oder whatever.
The reason I go on here is because this is a different place, Fans get to discuss and contribute things that they find on the internet about something they enjoy. But obviously humans have a selfish nature and likes to make everything about ourselves.

I don't see the point. If anyone wanna be a Fan of a person, they could just Fan them.
