PKMN Battle 2.0 has been a work in progress since 2006 when I was Schreiben down a story with a totally different plot and characters! Since then, the plot has changed, there have been new Pokemon added, and other things happened.
The First Draft
The original version was based in Hoenn and started in Oldale Town. The main Trainer's starter was Treecko(My starter in Hoenn). There was no one else traveling with the other at the time(Unlike the current version). The first version was basically PKMN Emerald, just the same Pokemon I used were featured.
Deleted Scene 1
One of the first things I took out of the original version was an encounter with Groudon. This was in the beginning, when the Trainer was just starting, so it didn't seem like it should happen.
Deleted Scene 2
This was taken out during the Hoenn League. It was supposed to feature Steven as the Region Champion again, unlike in Emerald.
Deleted Scene 3
The third scene was a Team Rocket(Not Jessie and James) appearance in the Terrace Cave, where Groudon is found. This was elimanated when Deleted Scene 1 was taken out.
A Sekunde story
I didn't play PKMN smaragd for a while after beating Wallace. I thought I had finished it. But, after looking around PsyPoke, I learned about the Battle Frontier!
The Sekunde Quest a.k.a the Battle Frontier was 7 different places of battling. Each of the places was led Von a Secret Brain (Frontier Brain) who could be battled after a long win streak.
The Sekunde Quest was part 2 of PKMN Battle 2.0. It featured the same Trainer and Pokemon, it just was the Battle Frontier.
Deleted Scene 1
This was the only thing taken out was a secret Battle against the secret eighth Brain.
The Modern Version
I was basically done with the story, but after finishing PKMN Platinum, I decided to return. Lots of things have been taken out of the Sinnoh Version.
B & C
Team Rocket(Jessie and James) are probably my Favorit villains. Considering they probably don't even know what they are doing. In the Sekunde edition, I featured J&J doing the motto. Butch and Cassidy were actually going to be in it, but I decided to change it.
B&C actually did Zeigen up later.
Darkrai
The Pitch Black Pokemon was going to appear in Canalave City, but same with Groudon in Version 1, it was too early in the story to have a legendary.

In Eterna, after the Gym Battle, Max was supposed to say something about "SinnohShipping", and, well, it happened. I will have this happen, later.

4. Wobbuffet defeating Hitmonlee, Machoke, and Primeape using just its Counter attack
5. The Tentacruel, once under Captain Crook's command, changing their ways and swimming off.
6. Ash and The Instructor using Ivysaur, Charizard, and Pikachu and Weezing, Arbok, and Meowth to stop Team Rocket
7. Golduck, Poliwhirl, Totodile, and Feraligatr teaming up to stop Team Rocket with their Water Gun attacks.
