Well, a lot of sources are saying diffrent things. But the one I'm going with is Chad wanted to star, sterne in other movies. And since Peyton and Lucas's storys combine Hilarie had to leave to.
there are lots of different stories and not sure which is true.
1)Hil and Chad wanted to be paid Mehr and the network wouldn't pay them what they wanted so they left-however i cant see this happening as Hil works on Southern Gothic which is definately not all about money as it develops independent films.
2)Chad wanted to leave so Hil had to leave too-i hope it wasnt this reason
3)They got fired as their characters had got their happy ending and apparently there was no where else to go with Lucas and Peyton's storyline-lets face it there is always something that can happen to P Sawyer
anyways, i know that Hil didnt want to leave but it was a joint decision between the writers and producers and stuff. she sagte that she 'wished she had creative control over the show' which makes me think that it was the writers and stuff not having any new storylines for Leyton. Chad wasnt happy either and he has refused to Kommentar on it. Hope this helped!
