No-one's picked Spiderman or the Matrix? Really?!?

Maybe because the Matrix trilogy sucks (no offense to future lovers). The Matrix = good. The Matrix II and III = sucky. Besides, Star Wars (Episodes 4-6) blow them all out of the water!

And yeah, Cressida, I kinda wish they had just stopped with the first Matrix film. That's probably fodder for another "pick" - "Which movie do you wish never had any sequels?"

no one is picking the evil dead because no one has ever heard of it. They are the greatest B-movies ever made, they are funny, gruesome, gory, and scary. They are amazing in every single way, and Bruce Campbell kicks ass! The Evil Dead trilogy is by far the best one of this group.

Ummm...what's Scary Movie here? There's already 4 movies... trilogy=3. And they probably will make more Spiderman Saw and Shrek movies, so they shouldn't be here. But what SHOULD be here (and in first place) is Scream! Duh

roundabouts, I agree that the Evil Dead films were great, but 2 was the same movie as 1, just remade with better effects, so I can't in good conscience vote for that. I'll go with the Godfather trilogy instead. Star Wars (original trilogy) is a very very close second. Many of the others, while great, are trilogies only because they haven't made the next film yet (Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, etc).

This was kind of tough. I was torn between Saw, Lord of the Rings, Spider-Man,and American Pie. I had to go with Saw because those movies are awesome and they will always be my favorite.

It was basically a six-way tie between this, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, The Godfather, Spiderman, and Terminator. But, alas, I can only choose one. *sigh*

The original Star Wars trilogy is by far the greatest. Each one gets better and better. The Indiana Jones trilogy is great too though and The Godfather trilogy is amazing and classic.

I liked the first pirates but not the others. So I don't think of them as a trilogy. Lord of the Rings is amazing. I watched all the extended versions last week.

O.K, why didnt any1 pick the Godfather??? Probly cause nobody has ever seen it. It was such an intense mob movie that broke barriers and plus they wer all nominated for the oscar for best picture and 2 of them won.

Bourne Trilogy is by far the best, because it is consistently awesome. each movie gets better.

The Bourne trilogy actually kept me interested throughout all three films, unlike other sets listed. Plus, Matt Damon is the sexiest actor ever.

BOURNE TRILOGY...these are the only films that don't ruin the concept of the book...and Matt Damon is an awesome Jason Bourne.

My goodnes! So many to choose from. I could have picked 2/3 of them: Matrix, X-Men, Star Wars (1-3 [haven't seen 4-6, yet]), Spiderman, Pirates, Oceans, Anne of Green Gables. I picked Bourne because 1st I really really like the movies and 2nd hardly anybody picked them.

I can't believe hardly anyone's picked the Bourne trilogy! It's absolutely FANTASTIC (with Pirates coming in a close second). It's the only trilogy that came out with it's last film this summer (in uk) that was actually worth watching... (as much as I love Pirates you gotta admit that the third one was a bit dissapointing):p

Spiderman 3 was crap the first 2 were good but the 3 was a waste of 2 hours!

Great question, really tough to choose between LOTR, Star Wars (4 - 6), Indy, BTTF and Godfather. Terminator is ruined by the appalling 3rd movie, as is X-Men and Spiderman.

How anyone can choose POTC is beyond me, the first one is good, the other two are utter shite! Like The Matrix, first one is one of my favourite films of all time but the second is average (held together by the freeway and brawl) and the third one was just a nonsense wasn't it.

I love heaps of those trilogys but I chose Star Wars 1-3
