The 20 Best Filme for Kids 

The Lion King was the only non-Pixar animated Disney movie to make it on this list. What!? How about Little Mermaid? Beauty and the Beast? Alice in Wonderland? Snow White? And the list goes on! I know that the entire list can't be populated with Disney movies, but I think that any of those is more appropriate for children than Lord of the Rings.

I have to agree with you there. The LotR movies are too scary for kids under ten. When Bilbo's face gets all evil in the first movie, my sister had an asthma attack and she was seventeen at the time.
