In Loves unfolding dream Belinda has brown hair and in Liebe takes wing she is a doc now and has blonde hair. How does that make sence?

Scout Taylor-Compton plays Belinda in Love's Unfolding Dream, Sarah Jones plays her in Liebe takes wing... other than that ... the only thing I found to explain is that hair dye wasn't invented until 1907... which is a lame thing to say but whatever...
