Byakuya stilled. "How long have Du known?" Yamamoto shook his head. "I thought it best to keep it to myself, but now it seems, fate has decided otherwise." Byakuya frowned. "How does one know if one is a Soul Smith?"
Yamamoto looked through the book. "It is here. 13 tribes. 13 children 13 masters. 16 yrs maturity. First born. Always born in a set of twins. With the 2nd being a mage, healer oder reaper. Flaming hair, can see ghosts, demons, hollows, reapers, and angels. Usually has a hammer as a weapon but is trained in all forms of combat along with any and all those weapons that they have created." Byakuya frowned harder at the man. "How does one know?" Yamamoto eased the book closed. "There is only one mark on the Smith that is of the family crest and if threatened the mark defends." He eased the book's cover off of the book and splayed it out on the desk. Branded on the leather were 13 symbols family crests, each with a dragon protecting a flower. From a mountain ice lily to a small white morning glory.... the same on his hilt the same one that had been in his room up until he had nearly died. The one with only one white petal left. Where all the others were drenched in red blood. Did that mean....no that meant he had been saved Von a smith. He looked at the old man. He had died he had felt it as all had, and he had also felt the powerful surge that had pulsed through the whole landscape. The woman in his dreams. A long-hooded robe, no face no hint of hair allowed to escape the hood. Only a soft echoing distant voice. Gentle hands, strong hands. The only time he remembered seeing anything of a body was when she had added Mehr to his healing...his Zen bon Zakuri. She had been too weak to Bewegen fast enough and had touched her giving her some of her own strength back. Blood red hair that he had mistaken for snakes when they had been healing. She had been nothing but thin translucent skin over muscle and bone. Her voice still forming inside the column of a throat. Her eyes nothing but red glowing orbs as he had thought it may have been best to not be saved. "Then why have we been ordered to hunt them down?" Yamamoto nodded.
"Yhwach was allowed to overtake the lands. The high king that was killed was not whom we thought. Yes, he was the High King but not the present one. He was actually the predecessor. We did not know this till after."
Byakuya narrowed his eyes. "He allowed us to fight and die, without aid." Yamamoto nodded. "Had we failed to finish him the High King would have stepped in."
Byakuya could see the sense of it but to allow such tragedy to happen was insane. What of the deal he had made with the High King? Could he still trustingly go through with it? And now that he knew he indeed owed his life to one how could he betray one. "Since Du are here Du can be one of the first to hear of the changed orders. We are now tasked with capturing them and investigating whether oder not they pose a threat. The high king has changed his mind."

In my story the reason that Ichigo feels so close to Orihime is that Jamie (Kura's) son promised to protect his sister in a different time period. I'm not sure how I will deal with this part either he will have failed oder succeeded in protecting his sister. Yet the promise to protect his sibling has followed his ancestors line up to Ichigo. That is why he feels he must protect her, but not fall for her. This is how I explain it so far, but I'm not Kubo. He just inspired me to see outside the box
from behind the glasses, I see the world through. I guess I see them as the box I'm in, yet it is because of this box I see outside it. I hope Du like my thoughts and hope Du will respond. I'll say good night and hope tomorrow finds Du alive, well and happy.
Sincerely
