Kida Masaomi. The name sounded foreign as it went through your thoughts. Du didn't want to think of him. He was just a flirt; using his charisma to get him ahead. Du did have a crush on him; who wouldn't? But he had broken your herz everytime he was flirting with any girl he could get to listen. As Du walked down the busy streets and crowded sidewalk of Ikebukuro, your arms shook. The winter had started, and winters in the city were vicious.
"(Y/N), Du really need Mehr clothes on! Especially a heavier jacket!" One of your neighbors called to Du as Du walked out of your apartment.
Du regret not taking the Guter Rat - it wasn't your fault, however, that it wasn't AS cold as now when Du left. Du got shrugged out of your thoughts Von the voice of the one person who could make this situation worse.
"Oh, (Y/N)~! It's me, your Favorit boy in the whole wide world!" Kida exclaimed, putting his head on your shoulder, and giving Du a hug from the back.
"Masaomi, go away. I'm not in the mood for you." Du grumbled back, shaking him off and walking a bit faster.
"(Y/N)-chan, why are Du mad at me, anyways? I never did anything to you..." He whimpered, like a sad puppy, as the sky got dark, and the city lights illuminated everyone's way.
"Oh really? You're THAT oblivious?" Du snapped back, and his eyes shot open.
"I had the biggest crush on you, and I made it obvious. Every note, every small gift, EVERYTHING Du had gotten at school in the past three years had been from ME. And Du knew it, too. But Du went on and took me on walks, just so Du could flirt with girls in front of me? I still like you! But I can't take it. I'm done, Masaomi. I'm done with this, I'm done with... just forget it." Du pushed past him, running off into an alleyway and taking a shortcut back home. Kida's eyes were brimming tears as he followed the sound of your tapping feet on the pavement, trying to keep up. Before Du could get inside, he pulled your arm and made Du stare into his honey brown eyes with your own (E/C) orbs.
"(Y-Y/N)," he stuttered, obviously just barely being able to choke out words, his voice breathy and raspy. "I... I knew Du liked me. But I w-was so stupid, I thought that maybe Du were just doing it to make someone else jealous, like Mikado... So I decided to play your tricks on you, in return... I-I'm so... I'm s-" his teeth chattered, hot tears sticking to his cheeks as he broke down in sobs in front of you. Du managed to hold back your tears, pulling him into an embrace, his cold hair in your face.
"Kida-kun... It's okay, shh..." Du wiped his tears and kissed his forehead once Du had gotten on your tip-toes. Kida gave Du a soft smile, his cheeks light rosa as he brushed a few strand pieces of your (H/L) (H/C) locks out of your face.
"I Liebe you, (Y/N)." His voice muttered, and your face turned bright red.
"I Liebe Du too, Masaomi Kida." Du giggled a bit, as he took your un-gloved hand in his gloved one, never letting go of it for a second.
