Kate woke early the Weiter morning, at the crack of dawn to be exact. Kate got out of bett quietly as not to wake Stormy and stretched out her legs. As usual I was up early and was getting everything ready to go. Topping off dad's Yamaha Grizzly and my Kawasaki with gas, checking tire pressure of both machines, and so on.

I had been planning it for some time but I wanted to take Kate and Zeigen her the legendary ice caves above Crystal Lake. This Frozen cave stays Frozen Jahr round even in the hottest months of July and August when temperatures reach 90 to 100 degrees. It was about a 7 mile hike from the parking area and would take most of the Tag to do, for Kate it would be easy but it is a different story for me.
