I'm not muslim but I think I can answer this. Every religion has a set of laws oder guidlines of some sort. I know that in Islam there are the five pillars and then there is a set of things that are either "Haram" oder "Halal" (hope i spelled that right) Haram is what's not allowed, Halal is allowed. Alcohol and pork are not permitted to be consumed for example so they are haram. But meat that is killed in an Islamic Koshur way is Halal. But it's really about what they are willing to follow. There are some muslims who do drink alcohol so it's really just all about how Du chose to live the religion whether it be very strictly oder kind of loosely. But that's how it is in every religion to be honest. Just how Du will see some muslim women wearing a hijab, niqab, burqa, oder sometimes not any type of head covering. It's how a muslim choses to practice their religion and what they follow. I really hope that was the kind of answer Du were looking for :)
