​The internet can be a beautiful place. A place where you can play quizzes to work out which supermarket aisle you need to be in to bump trolleys with One Direction and a place where Tumblr is just too Tumblr for its own good.

But it can also be a dark and pretty crappy place where people can send fake emails about Harry Styles\' solo single launch, asking people to be in his not-so-upcoming music video.

The fake email has been doing the rounds on Twitter after one kind user shared it and warned others who may receive it not to go near it with a 30ft bargepole.

It reads: "We are representing Harry Styles, we would like for you to either appear in Harry\'s music video or if you don\'t want to do that, would you like to attend the 1st screening of his solo single."

It continues: "This is via invite only and your discreetness is appreciated in this."

As if the questionable grammar wasn\'t enough (question marks are apparently not a thing in this hoaxer\'s world), we\'re pretty sure someone recruiting for a music video would write something a tad more professional and not use things like \'1st\' and \'discreetness\'.

This email could be pretty dangerous too. We know fans are obviously not stupid, but considering most of us would eat our own hand to spend just one minute with any of the One Direction boys, it seems pretty easy to say yes on impulse when you\'re seemingly presented with the opportunity.

Basically, ignore this email if you get it and let\'s just imagine the hoaxer behind all this falling over in a puddle or accidentally going to school in their underwear. Sending fake emails isn\'t cool, isn\'t funny and frankly, we\'d like it very much if this hoaxy-pants would just buh-bye outta here. OKAY THANKS.
