They never actually hook up. As it has been said, JK does mention that they could have been a couple, but chose to be loyal to ron and ginny. In my opinion that means that they did and do Liebe each other, but didn't want to alienate themselves from their best Friends so chose the easy way out... and again, in my opinion, if ron and ginny were really their Friends they would've have eventually forgiven them, if not then who cares, Harry and Hermione deserve True happiness, not settling because they didn't want some feelings hurt... Sorry for my rant, I just believe that JK was wrong in putting Harry with some who looks like his mother and obsessed with him because he was "The Boy Who Lived" and Hermione with someone who argues with her All the time and makes her cry. Harry and Hermione complete each other...

well no they arent a couple but we all want them to be

JK Rowling has sagte herself that Harry and Hermione could HAVE been a couple but both choose to be loyal to Ron and Ginny, respectively, as the two shared some intense moments without Ron in their company (read Deathly Hallows) but yeah im ok with who Hermione and Harry ended up with i do believe that they have great chemistry and look great together :)

They never do, but it just seemed like the obvious thing. I was shocked when Ron and Hermione hooked up, because Ron and Hermione are constantly arguing and getting in each other's faces. Harry and Hermione just seemed much Mehr compatable.

They never really hook up. If Du seen the Kürzlich movie (or even read the books) you'll notice she fell in Liebe with Ronald and he fell for Ginny. And they are best friends. Though some people would rather Harry and Hermione together. That's fine with me, though.
