Gossip Girl is currently casting for a sexypants jet-setter with an accent and Serena's insta-gal-pal mohn Lifton is coming back.

We aren't sure how much of this is set in stone and how much is just speculation, but Gossip Girl appears to be auditioning actors for the role of Gabriel Serrano.

"Gossip Girl" may be spinning off a new Zeigen - which would be set well before the soap's teen characters were born.
