Featuring a battle that Legolas and Gimli would be proud of and dragon carnage, these are the things we can\'t stop thinking about this week:

1. It\'s fair to say that Ramsay Bolton got his just desserts

history, everything happened exactly the way we wanted. Pretty much. Yes, that meant the episode was a tad predictable, but if it\'s executed this perfectly then that\'s just fine with us.

Jon Snow won. Ramsay died horrifically. (Most of) our favourites survived. Considering the evil deeds Ramsay has dealt over the years, even his most savage death-by-hounds didn\'t seem quite enough. But at least Sansa got to watch her abuser be torn apart.

"I am part of you now," he told Sansa just before his dog had some haute cuisine. Just some dark poetry on Ramsay\'s part - or does he somehow know that his sort-of wife is pregnant with his child?

We\'ve already theorised that this could be a horrible twist, so is this just the latest bit of foreshadowing? Or just Ramsay being a dick (again)?

In all that excitement, you may have forgotten that poor Rickon bit the dust just before the battle. Bloody Ramsay. Though, it wasn\'t much of a shock, was it?

We\'re mainly sad for actor Art Parkinson, who never even got a single line since returning a few weeks back.

4. Giants should definitely sign a \'no holding doors\' policy

Poor Wun Weg Wun Dar Wun. Without him, we doubt Jon and his ragtag group of Wildlings and loyal servants would have survived.

5. But we\'re frankly amazed everyone else survived

We have to admit, we really did think at least one of Jon, Davos and Tormund was going to die this week. Especially when Jon was being suffocated by the world\'s biggest bundle and Tormund was enduring a more violent attack to the head than Zidane vs Materazzi.

But these guys are tough sons of bitches, and we\'re incredibly pleased they\'ve survived another day at least. Maybe without bloodthirsty George RR Martin in charge, we won\'t end up crying ourselves to sleep after every episode of GoT .

There were plenty of theories going around that the Umbers were actually double crossing Ramsay, that Shaggydog was actually alive and that Rickon knew all about it etc etc.

7. Sansa is going a bit rogue and we\'re not sure how we feel

In a move that was fully expected but so joyous to see, Sansa\'s letter from a few weeks back was to convince Littlefinger to save the day with the Knights of the Vale.

But what does this mean? For reasons only known to her, she decided to keep this information a secret from Jon, when she had plenty of opportunities to share this with him. Even if she wasn\'t certain that Littlefinger would heed her call, she could have let Jon know it was a

Sansa is certainly appearing far more Baelish than Stark right now. We\'ll have to wait and see whether that will prove to be a problem....

When Jon had a little chat with Melisandre before the battle - asking her to not bring him back from the dead again - she made it perfectly clear that it wasn\'t her power that saved him, but that of the so-called Lord of Light. Why, she doesn\'t know (of course).

If this is true (who knows at this point?), then it would certainly explain just how the hell Jon was able to survive a storm of arrows, a barrage of horses and swords, and almost being trampled to death. He can\'t just be

Ser Davos finally discovered the fate of his confidant Shireen after stumbling upon the location of her fiery demise.

Somehow, he managed to keep it together long enough to survive the battle, but something tells us he\'s going to have a quiet word with Melisandre next week.

10. Oh yeah, there were some dragons too...

We almost forgot all the scenes in Meereen. And they were pretty bloody great, too.

Tyrion warned Daenerys against simply slaughtering the masters\' army and exterminating all the nearby cities, revealing her father Aerys Targaryen\'s similar plan to destroy King\'s Landing.

Instead, she offered the masters terms of surrender. Their response? They\'ll allow her and Tyrion leave the city if they hand over the Unsullied, Missandei and her dragons. Nice try, guys...

Dany rode Drogon into the bay and was joined by Rhaegal and Viserion, and proceeded to burn the fleet. The Dothraki slaughtered the Sons of the Harpy, and Grey Worm kills two of the three masters, with Tyrion sending the surviving member away with a warning. Bad-ass.

It always feel strange when Daenerys interacts with new characters for the first time, doesn\'t it? This week, Theon and Yara arrived to meet with her and Tyrion, offering their ships if she helps them overthrow Euron and give independence to the Iron Islands.

Tyrion is wary of Theon at first, but Daenerys agreed to assist them if the Ironborn stop with the reaving, raping, and pillaging thing. Reluctantly, Yara accepted, but not before some serious eye-f***ing between the pair.
