Though the children of Ned Stark have had a particularly rough go as of late, here’s some news that would make Eddard proud: Bran will definitely be in the upcoming season of
Irish Examiner, Wright confirmed what most fans had guessed: After sitting out Season 5, his character will be back in play for Season 6.
“I can’t say a lot, but I am back in this season, and it’s going to get particularly interesting with Bran,” he said, adding that the series begins shooting again at the end of July. “He has some interesting visions.”

The HBO series’ fourth season finale found Bran harnessing his warg powers and finally meeting up with the human incarnation of the three-eyed raven, who says he’s been waiting for the boy. “You’ll never walk again,” he tells young Stark, “but you will fly.”
The character was not seen on screen for the whole of Season 5, which wrapped in June.
Wright also admitted that he has not seen the fifth season and — sorry — he has no intel on whether Jon Snow is alive or not, either.
