The car was soon driving past the zoo gate, the dead of winter taking it's toll on the metal frame of the gate, where the letters on the entrance: "Hoboken Zoo" were faded out and had burn marks, it was immediately apparent that the whole zoo was blasted with some types of explosives, which begged to Frage the events of the past two days. "What the hell happened here, that's my question..." sagte Skipper quietly. "What?" asked Private. "Oh nothing, just a rhetorical question," sagte Skipper. They soon heard the wind slowly whistle throughout the dead trees as the ice and snow began to leave Private shivering slightly. Skipper looked around, noticing that there were no exhibits, but ripped up, shredded remains of them, with twisted up lampposts every 35 feet oder so. They soon pulled over, and Skipper cautiously stepped out, whereas Private was soon Frozen stiff, but not with the cold, but the rising fear inside him. "At ease Private, we're not in any immediate danger, just don't TOUCH any remains," sagte Skipper. "I wasn't planning to sir," sagte Private with a weak chuckle. "Alright, just stay here and send us this signal: Du will take the headlights of the car, and turn them on and off, repeatedly three times, whenever Du see something weird and pissed off in the distance, okay?" asked Skipper. "Y-Yes sir...." whimpered Private. "Relax, I'll leave Du with a flamethrower, and before we leave, make sure it works, otherwise something could hurt Du out here, and I don't want to see Du get "assimilated" oder whatever thing Kowalski was talking of," sagte Skipper, reassuring Private. "Thanks Skippah," sagte Private with a weak smile. "No problem, Rico, let's head off, before the cold freezes our asses off," sagte Skipper, getting a flamethrower. "Yeah!!" saluted Rico, getting his own flamethrower out. Private then took the flamethrower Skipper gave him, then tested it, it spread a large flame out, melting the surrounding snow near him. "It worked," sagte Private. "Perfect, we can finally head off on our way," sagte Skipper, gesturing Rico to follow him. Both he and Rico headed off to the zoo's main office building, where most of it was burnt, but not collapsed in any way yet. "This should give some answers," sagte Skipper, slowly going inside the blackened office, opening the remains of a charred set of double doors.
The entire office was literally burnt inside out, upon stepping inside, Skipper noticed the schreibtisch and a few remnants of a computer were there as well. "Alright, so we've confirmed that this IS an office now, so let's go and-" Skipper paused, as he immediately noticed a giant hole in the wall, as if something had leaped out of the building. "My gut feeling is saying that something got burnt to death in here, we gotta check it out," sagte Skipper, following the hole outside. They soon saw that the hole was big enough for them to walk right through it, and then they noted drag marks about 3 feet away from the hole, following those, they saw a burnt mass in the snow, from the looks of it at a distance, it appeared to be a pinkish red blob, with a few scorch marks all over it. They both then headed over to it in a hurry, then saw what it really was. The smelly carcass in the snow was what appeared to be a mutated penguin, which had extra legs and flippers, and a Sekunde face attached to it's head, no doubt, another mutant as a result of being assimilated Von whatever they were being worried about before. "Never seen any types of mutants since Chernobyl," sagte Skipper quietly. He then looked at it a bit longer, then saw the opportunity to get Mehr Antwort from Kowalski. "Hey Rico, Du think Du got any sled to pull this corpse back to base?" asked Skipper. Rico nodded, regurgitating a large sled and a bit of rope. "Good, we'll need all that rope to tie it to the back of the car when we get back, but how are we going to load it up on here without touching it?" asked Skipper. Rico then puked up a grappling hook, then slinged it at the body, then pulled on the end of a rope, rolling the carcass onto the sled. "Ah, I see that Du get the idea, good work Rico," sagte Skipper with a smile. Rico then pulled on the rope at the front of the sled, then started to drag the sled across the snow. "Lemme help Du out Rico," sagte Skipper, helping him pull the sled back to the car where Private was.
"ARE Du MAD SKIPPAH?!" asked Private, panicking at the "Souvenir" Skipper had brought back. "No, I'm not insane Private, we just need another sample to let Kowalski learn Mehr about it so that we can eventually find out who's Weiter and who's infected at the exact moment, we need it to study," sagte Skipper. "Hmmmm... Alright, however though, just tie it as far as possible away from the car," sagte Private. "It's do-able, the rope is a good 22 feet long anyways," sagte Skipper. "Okay, that's fine, I'll be fine with that, so, are we leaving now?" asked Private. "Yes, we are, now scoot over a bit so I can drive it, alright?" asked Skipper. Private then slid to the other side, letting Skipper take a sitz at the driver's side. Rico was then finishing up the job of tying the sled to the back of the car, then hopped in, getting into the car with Skipper and Private. "Everyone here? Private, Me, Rico, we're all here, and accounted for, let's get a Bewegen on," sagte Skipper, starting up the car. He began to drive off when suddenly a pile of rubble began to shift in the zoo, then, a large tentacle sprung up, grabbing the sled, then dragging it into the rubble. Skipper was soon alarmed, then pulled over, seeing the rubble shift again, then an entire set of tentacles sprung out, moving around and trying to reach for the car. "Blast it, right now...." sagte Skipper. He then got his flamethrower quietly, then gestured Private and Rico. "BLAST IT NOW!!!" yelled Skipper, shooting his flamethrower at the creature. The tentacles soon shriveled in and shook violently, letting out a deafening roar. Rico and Private then blasted it with their flamethrowers as well. Skipper then began to drive off, getting away from the burning rubble. "Rico, hit me," sagte Skipper. Rico then puked up a bomb, then tossed it out to Skipper. Skipper then aimed at the rubble pile, then threw the pipe bomb at the creature. They soon drove out the zoo, escaping as the creature let out a roar upon noticing the bomb. Immediately after, the entire exploded into flames once again, multiple explosions setting off from delayed reactions to bombs that Rico secretly set out in the zoo.
