Do Du believe in Autor powers? 8D

Yes, I do believe in Autor power. Because Schreiben a fic itself is giving power to a person to change the original canon story around. Autor notes are acceptable, because an Autor does need to write a little note to the readers, but to me, they are acceptable as long as they are before oder after the fic. ANs between fics, however, is a big no-no for me. ANs inserted in the middle of a fic can ruin the entire tone of the story, and jolts Du back to reality and Du think that "oh yeah, it's just a fanfiction."

Self-inserts in general bothers me a lot, don't even ask why. It's just really, really annoying, and most of them are badly written in my fandom. Fourth Wand breakages.. hmm, haven't seen much of those around, but I'm not really fond of those either. Basically, I prefer fics to be taking place in its universe, and the authors' role in this is just Schreiben the story itself, and that's it.

Autor notes are fine either at the start oder end of a chapter. Sometimes they're necessary, e.g. a note explaining that the Weiter chapter will be delayed for some reason oder other. An Autor note in the middle of the chapter spoils the flow though.

Autor powers and ruling the story - what do Du mean? The Autor decides what happens in the story, that is what it means to be the author. Du can do whatever Du want (as long as Du mention canon divergence, AU etc in the summary, since some people dislike this)

I've read a few self-insertions and they've been ok. I know a lot of people hate the majority, oder hate them all, though. Maybe I've been lucky in the ones I've found.

I don't really like fourth Wand breakage. Like the mid-chapter notes, it breaks the flow.
