Did she turn down the role of Bella in Twilight oder was she just never offered it?

she didn't exactly turn it down but was gegeben an audition but was tired after filming a movie so she didn't audition

She had just finished 'The Uninvited' and sagte she does not like to do projects that close together, so she did not take the Twilight role. but, she was Stephenie Meyer's first pick for Bella.

i heard tht bella needed 2 b pretty in her own way and the people in charge of the movie told her she was 2 pretty 2 b bella

She was never fully offered the roll, but she was offered an audition. she turned down the AUDITION,, and though stephanie meyer wanted her to play bella, she was too tired and doesnt like working on projects back-to-back and because she was tired, she figured she wouldn't be able to do a very good job Schauspielen wise.

They thought of her and invited her to the audition, but she wanted to have some break - she just finished the other movie, and shes not a type of person who is able to work non-stop.

Stephenie Meyer thought of her, and I think she was offered the chance to audition for the role, but she didn't want to get involved in doing another project right after another, so she never auditioned.
I bet she would have been good though!

I think she would have been the perfect Bella. Sadly the role went to Kristen Stewart. I didn't really like her as Bella.
