Seriously...Matt's my Favorit right now 'cause I think he's the most doctory doctor so far. But I hate it when people ask me which one is "better" because they ALL bring something special to the role and they're all brilliant in different ways. And I just...just...my herz has warm mushy sentimental places for every Doctor, okay?

I Liebe Eccleston for his edge and intensity and the awesome reboot he gave this series. He started it with a wonderful bang.

I Liebe Tennant for the way he could make Du laugh your butt off one moment and cry your eyes out the next, and just FEEL so deeply. He brought so much depth to the Doctor.

And I Liebe Matt Smith because I think he captures the pure essence of Doctor Who. He IS the Doctor - a madman in a box, so very clever and so very kind, with the mystery and wisdom and sadness of a thousand years in his eyes.

Matt Smith has reduced the Doctors character to a bumbling fool who occasional comes up with good ideas on a whim. He has stripped away the maturity and integrity instilled in the charactor Von Eccleston and Tenant. Lets not forget people that the Doctor is old, really old, and should therefore not appear constantly as a cowboy teenager in a box with a fetish for fezes. Matt Smith's Doctor seems to be an array of persona's that appear displaced amongst each other, and do not summate to a complete character. He seems to have atoundingly shaved a few unforgiveable centuries off the doctors age, and I for one am not grateful. Also David Tenant rules!!!

CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON O COURSE!!!

ARE Du KIDDING ME??!! Ahem. Ok. First of all, Mum and I watched Christopher Eccleston and loved him and thought he was just absolutely fantastic. Then he had to die as the Doctor and change into David Tennant. We were DEVESTATED. Absolutely inconsolable. Of course, this was when we didn't know the pure awsomeness that is David's Doctor. Eventually, we managed to get over the shift. Still upset, but then we watched David and fell in love. And he wass brilliant and awesome and gorgeous and absolutely fantastic. Then HE shifted into Matt Smith. Devastated once again. Same basic principal. Scars healed and we fell in Liebe with Matt. They are all phenomenal as the Doctor. While Christopher does a fantastic job, Matt and David play the Doctor as he was meant to be played. But I think all three are absolutely fantastic! YOWZA!

I Liebe Christopher because he started off the newer doctor who with such a wonderful act and so much emotion. Fantastic!

I Liebe David because of how well he plays the doctor. He gets mad if someone even touches his companions. He's very funny and laid back. Allons-y!

I Liebe Matt for his sensitivity. He gets mad for no reason and thinks bow ties, fezzes, and stetsons are cool. He's very gentle with river song unlike David who didn't want anything to do with her. Geronimo!

So I conclusion they all have their upsides and downsides. No matter who someone is better than the other, they all make doctor who such a wonderful show. And if anyone hates on Christopher, David, oder Matt, just remember they didn't write their scripts, Steven Moffat did.

I guess it depend of your definition of better. All three are good actors and they were amazing doctors. Which one Du prefer depend on what Du like the most about the doctor.
I Liebe 9 and even know when I watch season 1, he is my Favorit doctor. But then I watch 10 and I change my mind and he is my Favorit and sometimes when I rewatch season 5 I think Matt is just as awsome as them.
We should be grateful we had 3 amazing actors instead of bickering which one is the best.

Here is how I see it. Ecclestien ( I know I didn't spell that right) is the raw doctor. He is rash and can be hateful at times but still is just the doctor. He is like this because he remembers the war but doesn't at the same time, if that makes any sense. Now David tennant, who is my Favorit doctor, is the Mehr of The Doctor in general.... That sentence got away from me sorry. I think that David portrays the doctor in a way that let's Du see that this man is lonely brilliant "space man" filling himself with the wonders of the world to get over the fact that he is the last Time lord. Du can see his personality switch a bit between companions also. Happy go lucky with rose, a bit Mehr withdrawn with ms jones, and then a bit sorrowful with Donna noble and it doesn't help that we see river song get left in that virtual reality world after the debacle with the vashta nerada. And after Donna is no longer able to travel with him the doctor is most likely thinking what we are all thinking and ii is why is such a powerful man reduced so to little and this is when the waters of mars episode come to play because everyone is like "oh David tennant acts too god like" and I'm sitting here thinking to myself he is godlike. I mean come on the man travels the universe saving planets and civilizations, a master of time and Weltraum and do not even think about saying "that's not him that's the TARDIS" because its his TARDIS he chose it and it chose him. In the waters of time he starts to feel this way which just adds to the complexity of his character I mean come on we all know David was the best doctor. Matt smith is an amazing actor I really do Liebe his doctor. I like the wittiness and funny side of his character and he has shown that he can get serious like in the episode "when a good man goes to war" but with all this i believe that the Schreiben is what has me most captivated. With the pandora and the impossible astronaut there's no way Du could be wrong . The Schreiben and plot are the big wave of the 11th doctor and Matt smith just has to ride it correctly and he could a sensational doctor. But all in all when it comes to who portrays the doctor the best in my eyes it David tennant no doubt

It's like when people ask me who my Favorit Doctor is. The Doctor is the same man. Always. So they're all the best and all my favorite. Eccleston will always be MY Doctor because I started with him and he introduced me to the series and opened me up to the old series and the new, so without him I wouldn't know the amazing world of Doctor Who. But like I sagte before, The Doctor is the same man. Always.

Let me begin Von saying that I have no desire to cut down other Doctors. Everybody has a favorite, and that’s one of the beautiful things about the show. That being said, David Tennant is MY Favorit Doctor. I do not want to persuade someone to give up their beloved favorite, so I am not trying to convince anyone that he is the best.David Tennant is considered to be the most human of the Doctors. Most people think this is a reason why he was so convincing and others think it’s not true to Doctor Who because he is supposed to be Mehr alien in personality.When he’s angry, he can really let loose. it doesn’t seem ridiculous to say that he is one of the Mehr sensitive Doctors. And that appeals to the female Fans for sure. He had this magical way of coming across as someone open to Liebe but unavailable at the same time. He was right there in front of you, but just out of reach at the same time.David Tennant was 3 years old when he saw Doctor Who for the first time, and that was the reason he wanted to become an actor. To be able to fulfill a childhood dream of playing a character must be one of the most incredible experiences, and his passion for the Zeigen is probably one of the reasons he is so amazing in the role.

Bottom line is that David Tennant is a Fan of the show. He wasn't just an actor looking for a role. He poured not only his passion for it into the character but also his extensive knowledge about the show’s history. It’s true that he is an amazing actor and really attractive, but it’s his passion behind all of this that makes him the best.

I prefer Matt Smith. He can act so intelligent like the Doctor is supposed to be, so dangerous and fearful, and fun and crazy at the same time ! He's everything the Doctor should be.
I do like David Tennant, he was great too ! Although seemed a little bit too serious at times, we don't have quite the same fun watching him as when we do watching Matt Smith.
Christopher Ecclestion was great too, he had so much enthuthiasm, and seemed so adventurous which was great ! It's a shame he didn't do Mehr than one season of the Zeigen though, I would have liked to have seen Mehr of him with Rose, those two were great together.

I think Tennant was the best because he had Rose, Martha, and Donna. He also was the best runner.

I liked both Matt and David the best. Christopher was only the doctor for one series so I don't think he had enough time to 'blossom'. I mean we did have 3 series' to get used to the other two doctors. Christopher was only on our screens for a short amount of time, so maybe if he was on longer, my opinion would be diferent :)

To me, the doctor is the same man. No matter what his face looks like he still is the same man, but these three men bring up different personalities and decisions to each regeneration. Christopher Eccleston portrays the Mehr dramatic and seriousness in the ninth doctor, but who has a soft side with a little bit of cockiness when he has his days. Oh, David Tennant betrayed the 10th Doctor with Mehr humor and light hearted jokes as well with the infamous cockiness that I have mentioned earlier with the 9th doctor. But can be serious and ,more loving when it comes to his companions. Although he made me laugh with every spring in his step. Weiter is the 11th doctor. He is the most child like reincarnation to me. He has a few jokes to pass the time and has all the time in the world for his companions. He even almost persuaded me to get me a bow-tie as well. But he won't be messed with when there is a tuff situation going on.

So, I haven't made up my mind yet because these three great actors portray the brilliant alien called The Doctor. I hope this Antwort your question!

Du know this Frage really got me thinking because all of us really have our moments where we're just like yup that's THE doctor that's MY doctor. Du see all doctors have to have that, some Mehr than others for some Mehr than others for some people, and that's how we know which one we like best, well its weird because they are all the same person, THE DOCTOR. I understand Du are asking which one really fits in your opinion of what the doctors character in your mind, but they really were all one person, it would be like asking a normal person which part of his life it better, because they are still ONE PERSON. I just thought that how can Du all decide? They and the Zurück doctors are the ones that form our opinion, so it all depends on the pervious doctors that Du have seen on which one that Du LIKE BEST.

Hmm. For the actors, I don't really know much about them (I'm Mehr of a character-lover and not an actor-lover) but if I were to pick I'd say my Favorit is David Tennant.

For the incarnations of the Doctor (Nine, Ten, and Eleven) it really is a dead tie between Nine and Ten. I have TRIED to pick a Favorit before and I cannot. I Liebe them for slightly different reasons, but they're both wonderful.
Eleven, while I have nothing against Matt Smith, I kind of hate, actually. Not quite done with season 7 yet, though. I guess he still has time to change my mind. :P

So I've been re watching doctor who and I watched about 5 episodes with David tennant before I got to season 5 with Matt Smith. I've always liked David Mehr because he's very close to me and I feel like he is my doctor I fell in Liebe with but after watching just one episode with Matt in it I realized how much I Liebe matt. During the episodes with David I felt a lot of sadness for him. He made me feel a lot of remorse and almost anger (which wasn't bad. I still enjoyed watching him very much). Matt, makes me feel a lot too but he just gives me Mehr positive and energetic happy vibes. I was so excited when I watched the 1st episode of season 5. It felt magical and made me really want to go travel and get to know The Doctor. It seriously made my world seem a little brighter after watching him. I think it really also had to do with the Schreiben too. I LOVED the story line during Matts run. It made me laugh, cry, and jump off the couch when something mind blowing happened. It really captured me. oder at least until Clara came in. (But I'm not gonna go there.) It's really hard to compare any of the Doctors because they are all the same person just with slightly different personalities. Seriously though. I think Matt has grown on me so much because of his brightness he brings to the screen. No I don't just like these guys because they are "cute". I Liebe them for their different personalities. I mean, Peter Capaldi has to be one of the best doctors there has ever been because I Liebe the seriousness about him but he still has his witty self hiding away. So yes. I think Matt Smith makes me feel the best when I watch him. :) <3

This is a tough question. Matt Smith and David Tennant were equally good doctors, and I would almost call it a tie because I Liebe both, but I think Matt Smith is the best.

David was like the rise of the doctor. However, Matt Smith was the rein of the doctor and totally awesome. Even though he has as much heartache as the other doctors, he does his best to be "the optimist and the hoper of far-flung dreams." He brings a hope and epicness to the doctor. While David was the hero, Matt is the doctor. He is wiser and funnier.

David Tennant of course. I mean come on, just look at those B-E-A-U-TIFUL eyes. And his smile? 😍. Now Matt's cute and all, but does anyone remember who Matt went to for Guter Rat on being The Doctor? David Tennant, that's who. Not Tom Baker, not Peter Davison, not Slyvester McCoy. David Tennant.

A writer once sagte "Russell T Davies envisioned a mainstream, commercial Who, primetime hit rather than Fan indulgence, which meant a mainstream and commercial hero. Tennant’s character, like his costume, was pitched to be crowdpleasing, a matey, likeable leading man giving noughties viewers what they wanted. They fell for him, and so did his companions."

Smith was original and portrayed "the Doctor" really well. The number of companions does not correlate with how better of being the Doctor the actors are. In regards to the companions being copied and paste, I have one Fragen for Du guys and gals: Have Du seen all of Doctor Who? All of the companions are "pretty" and "clever." How the companions are picked is Mehr oder less a tradition that has been going on. People should not focused on the looks oder the empty rhetorics that are made from looking at the surface. People should be Mehr fascinated with the story, with the adventure, and most importantly, with all of the awesome -fantastic- lesson the doctor teaches us.

That is why I would say, after watching Doctor Who over and over and over again -with much enjoyment- Matt Smith is the best doctor in the new who.

I have not watched enough of the old who to determine the proper answer which one is the best.

When I first started watching the Zeigen I was so upset when Christopher regenerated and I didnt like David when he first started. But after a few episodes I was in Liebe with David's work. He shows humor and he played the role really well. Von far he is the best in my image and he is now my Favorit actor. And lets just say that his catchphrase was the best ALLONS-Y!
