This isn’t a favorite couple’s countdown. For example, Ariel and Eric are my favorite couple, but my favorite love story is Belle and the Beasts…how they start off as enemies, but grow to love each other. I’m doing this for Valentine’s Day.

their story is just really stupid, you can tell that charming only likes girls for their appearance. at least philip and the prince did something to prove their love, but charming doesn't do anything, he's incredibely lazy

As I just explained in my aritcle "some thoughts about Cinderella" (which is btw here: link), this love story is kind of creepy. Nobody ever asks Cinderella if she wants to marry the prince, everyone just assumes that she does. (Well, she wants, but someone should ask her nevertheless). I like that Mulan's and Shang's Love story starts with a friendship - not that we see much of the actual love story, but what's there is sooooo sweet.

How do Mulan and Shang not have a love story people??? They're one of the greatest examples of true love in Disney! It's one of the best, most complicated ones too. And Shang is like the only prince to really grow to appreciate the princess for her mind and actions rather than her feminine looks. He falls for her because he's attracted to strong women!

These two on the other hand...it's just weird. The prince just pops up at the end and kisses her dead body...creepy. Just because you had a brief encounter serenading some girl half your age doesn't mean you should kiss her corpse!

i love cinderellas love story.is what love at first sight means.when they meat its like they were made for each other.and what i really love is that cinderella didnt even know that she dances with the prince.it is so magical!

Theres no romantic connection between these two in their story (I'm speaking of the first movie. Never watched the 2nd.) In a love story I prefer more romance. They just don't have it until right at the end. And even then it barely gives anything between them except an invitation to dinner. But I have to admit I do love the friendship that grows between them through out the movie. But I just wish there was some more romance added to it somewhere down the line. But I guess thats kind of hard when you, a woman, is trying to pretend to be a man.

I 100% agree with dweeb. Only that we didn't see Mulan's and Shang's love story doesn't mean that they didn't have it. I personally hate mulan2 so I don't think them would act as they did in sequel. Disney show us clearly enough in first movie that Mulan and Shang will get marry but them "love story" before it is mostly after movie's end. It make them love story pretty hard to compare with others princesses love story but I'm sure their love story is better than Snow White's or Cinderellas!

HOW can you pick Mulan & Shang! I love them together!!! Plus the point of the movie wasn't centered around their romance, but that doesn't make it any worse than one centered around it.
P.S. Ariel & Eric is my favorite pairing <3
