I really hope the classics don't go first. Aurora puts duty and responsibility over her own wants, and Cindy and Snow stay so positive despite everything they had to go through.

Merida does became a good role-model towards the end of the movie and it's great that she tried to fix the mess she made, but I think that giving a potion to change your parent is unacceptable, unless they're abusive. And I don't like how she seemed to care more about calling off the marriage than her mother's health.

dclairmont - I agree with your entire top 6, I believe, especially the top 3.

Ariel inspired me to ditch my family for a man, and she trusted a sea witch to do it.

The reason Merida wanted to fix her problems was because her mom was turned into a bear, if the spell turned out her way she wanted, I doubt she would have done anything about it. Wanting to change your mom is a little bit wrong on its own IMO o.O

And I think the Classics are good role models though they aren't high on my list because I don't think everyone can be kind, sweet, pure, obedient, stay positive all the time, etc. Yes, some girls could learn a lot from the Classics but I don't necessarily admire those traits more than some others. Well, Idk Cinderella and Snow are in the middle of my list but I'd have to think about it more.

^Not all the time, of course. Cinderella is not sweet all the time and say some unkind words about her stepsisters' singing, after all. But in general.

Shiki_Otherside - Honestly, you're being a little hard in Ariel. It's not a "man" it is her true love. It is the same with saying Cinderella's, Aurora's and Snow White's dreams revolve around a man. Not true.

^I said all the time for the ''stay positive''. But I also think they are always sweet, Cinderella might of said some unkind words about her steps' singing to the mice but that doesn't really count.

^^I don't see why it doesn't count. It's not like she could have gone to her stepsisters' face and called their singing bad.

It's not a bad thing to be sweet all the time, Idk why we need to be discussing this. And I mean you can't count every detail when it's fair for someone to be mocking someone else a little bit. It's great to remain kind and gentle, but I just PERSONALLY think that in the real world today, being like that doesn't cut it.

I guess my list would be
1. Mulan
2. Tiana
3. Belle
4. Cinderella
5. Pocahontas
6. Rapunzel
7. Snow White
8. Jasmine
9. Ariel
10. Aurora
11. Merida
