Disney Extended Princess Frage

If this spot is for Disney extended princesses, how come Odette, Thumbelina, and Anastasia are on the banner? They aren't Disney.

I mean, really, am I missing something here?

C'mon, no takers? Really, it says Disney in the name. What's with the non-Disney girls? I'm very confused about this, so could someone clear it up?

I am confused, as well, but many people associate the three with Disney films. Actually, the girl who voiced Thumbilena, Jodi Benson, also voiced Ariel. She also has a minor role in Verzaubert as Patrick Dempsey's characters assistant.

I for one also don't understand why they are even there. They're NOT Disney.

Yes, I agree. Odette, Thumbelina, and Anastasia are not Disney. Odette was made Von Richard Rich. The other two girls were made Von Don Bluth.

Nah they can just pass off for Disney princess because.

Odette: The Animation director on the "Swan Princess" was actually an ex-Disney Animation director [Ricard Rich (lol I bet they call him Richy Rich)] with his experince with Disney he decided to make his on studio [Crest Animation Productions] and then their 1st and most successful non-disney Animation was created [the schwan Princess]

Anastasia: Just like Odette, Anastasia animator (Don Bluth) worked in Walt Disney Company but he to departured from Walt Disney Company. Don Bluth is a director of so many non-disney classics like: "An American Tail/The Land Before Time/All Hunde Go to Heaven/A Troll in Central Park/Thumbelina/Anastasia, etc:
Don Bluth worked with Steven Spielberg and fuchs Animation Studios with his work this influenced Disney to make a Disney comeback of animation, in other words, the Disney Renaissance ie.The princess and the Frog

Thumbelina: Another Don Bluth animation. Thumbelina and Ariel's voice are the same actress [Jodi Benson] and not to mention 2 other actors from the "little mermaid" also played a part in "thumbelina". And not to mention both Filme are based on two stories on the same Autor [Hans Christian Anderson]

To me if these girls are Disney related their studios/producers should sell them to Disney. Because that way Odette,Thumbelina and Anastasia will be remembered Von the new and old generations, and also their classical stories wounldn't have to be wasted.

I know all that. But it's still not right. Don Bluth was an idiot Disney copier- why should we remember him here? The only one that could almost be considered a Disney princess here is Anastasia, but that's because she acts like one and many people think she's one. No offense to any fans, but I think Odette and Thumbelina are pathetic excuses for new age princesses, and that their Filme are bad. They're not connected to Disney AT ALL. Bluth left Disney to make mediocre movies, and this is what he gets for it. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it's long been my belief that BLUTH < DISNEY, and it was confusing to see Bluth stuff here.

I think the reason why they add Thumbelina for example in this spot is because Jodi Benson who played Patrick Dempsey’s character Robert’s secretary also voiced Ariel in The Little Mermaid. Anastasia is not from Disney at all but I think its because of the wide eye character’s in the movie anyone who didn’t see the 20th century fuchs logo would think that it was from Disney. As for The schwan Princess im not sure about that one but its from New Line Cinema. I like these Filme too but its so annoying having them in this spot along with the likes of Fiona who is from DreamWorks’s Shrek.
