Should Dodge Ball Be Banned From Schools?

I would say no, let's not ban it. Let's not let a few kids who misbehave ruin it for the ones who can handle it. At my old school they were pretty good at enforcing the 'no throwing at faces' rule and pretty good about sitting the kids who would purposely hurt others Von whipping the ball at them. So no, it's just a game and it's usually fun.

And if you're worried about injuries. Well look at football and cheer leading. Mehr injuries happen in those spots and no one even talks about banning them. I've seen cheer leaders fall and break legs. And I've heard many stories of football players with concussions and torn muscles. Even swimming is a Mehr dangerous sport and swimmer don't really even make contact with their competitors. I speak from expirance in this one; if Du pull a muscle in the water (and I've done it and kept swimming) to put it simply I almost drowned. I really haven't heard any dodge ball horror stories outside a bloody nose oder a big bruise, if that.

Again, Du really have to be clearer. Are Du against a ban on dodgeball at schools, oder against dodgeball existing at schools and therefore supportive of the ban? Your stance is unclear.

I am personally against a ban. I think that there's nothing specifically bad about this sport that warrants a ban. It's not especially damaging (especially not compared to wrestling oder football), it's not especially harmful to psyches in some special way, and even if it was, that doesn't warrant a ban. Kids should be able to opt out, but that's not a ban.

No. It's a game.

The way we played dodge ball was we had teams, most of the time evenly in half, and we threw two oder three balls at each other until everyone on the opposing team was out. If Du have a thing against being hit Von a ball oder if you're a sore loser, don't play. It's a game. It's supposed to be fun and not taken too seriously. Du can take football and baseball seriously, but let kids have fun and play a game.

I would ban it, oder at least ban making it mandatory.
When I was in elementary school, we played a game very similar to dodgeball. It had most of the same rules, just a different name.
The fact that the objective of the game is to hit people with balls is the deal breaker.
It's vastly different from football and cheerleading. The objective of cheerleading is not to drop girls. The objective of football is not to tackle people ( besides, Du have mandatory protective gear. Du get penalized for not wearing it)
Not to mention these sports are never mandatory. When football is mandatory in school, it's usually flag football.

Well i think that it should be banded because the game encouroges bullying school's should forbid dodge ball.
