THE MIRAGE
Romantic Image on the plains
In stetson, boots and jeans
Mancho hands around the reigns
An icon in the land he seems.

But what was he? A hired hand
Who drove the cows footsore
For little pay in a rag-tag band
Lived rough, died young and poor.
