How did Du guys teach your cat to go to the sandbox?

it depends if its a kitten oder its grownup oder if u didnt train it till now and u just decided but wat i did was just i put the litter box were in the house i was going to keep it then i would pick up my cat and put her in the litter just do that a few times and probably she oder he will get an idea that this were i need to use the bathroom this is the way i litter trained my cat:D
