Letitia Wright was asked about the possibility of filming the second

movie without the film’s star, Chadwick Boseman.

Chadwick tragically passed away from colon cancer at the age of 43 in August of 2020.

Letitia plays the role of Shuri in the Marvel movies, and many believe she could actually become the next

, Letitia was asked about reprising her role in the upcoming sequel without her co-star.

“We’re just still mourning Chad, so it’s not something I even want to think about. The thought of doing it without him is kinda strange. We’re just grieving at the moment, so it’s trying to find the light in the midst of it,” Letitia responded. Our continued thoughts are with Chadwick‘s loved ones, friends, and family during this time.

Chadwick kept his illness private from most people and his agent actually explained why.
