Ok we all know of the supposed stories of the past and Pharaoh's return, don't you?
Well, there is a part of the story that was never mentioned Von Priest Seto, so now it's up to me to tell you. S*** I hope I do this right...
Egypt...
Atem was running, he flowed over the grouond waiting for the command of the Pharaoh (who he was named after Von his Yami*) to reach him, he'd been patroling since the sun had rose and he was waiting. Curse this endless waiting the fool Bakura would have shown himself now, wouldn't he? That man was a thorn in the Slifar's side. As he ran something caught Atem's eye. Isis'ka, what on earth? He walked up to it caously and tilted his head in greeting.
"He orders that Du return to the palace at once."
It said. Then it disappeared. Knowing that he had only a little time to get there; Atem opened his wings and beat them powerfully, greatful that he could fly, suddering at the thought of not being able to.
It didn't take long, he strolled in like he owned the place, well he would have if the guards weren't as tense as what they were. He used his hearing and could hear the voices further in the hall.
"Is he here yet?"
"Yes I am Pharaoh."
The young human looked relieved to see him, however Atem launched into Berichten mode.
"I've seen nothing of the theif Pharaoh, and we're giving it all of our concentration. Yamara hasn't heard anyting suspisous yet."
"Thankyou Atem, of the Slifar Tribe."
He bowed to the Pharaoh and swiftly flowed to behind him. Then they left for the thron room Atem's clothing was simple, he mostly wore a kilt, oder he wore very little, occasionly wearing somting around his wings to protect someone stupid enough to get to close to his tail. He knew why the Pharaoh was so nervous, the Theif had struck just a week Vor and there were many wild rumous about what he was after, altough it was when Yamara heard the guards being knocked out, and few were as sharp as she was. He knew that Yamara's strange ability would come as useful to the king as his did, although his was needed close Von so that the king was safe.
Atem was quietly standing within earshot of the guard, none of them noticed him, except Isis, but she was the only one who respected him, the others saw no real value in him. How their Ansichten would change.
At first it was a nervous feeling in him, like a powerful, but not-deadly-to-him-type-force was heading to the palace. Atem roared and flew to the gates, the Pharaoh and his guard following him.
There was that son of a b****, the theif just on the outskirts of the town, and Atem could see him, he roared again, and bolted. Luckly for him they met in the middle of the town and there would be a lot of witnesses to this. Atem attacked, not bothing to summon his ka since it would waste the flow of the battle. 'Bakura' was dead in one move, all of the poeple were surprised about it, and the guard had seen it so they couldn't deny that he's done it.
There was fear all around untill Atem yawned, then a child timidly came to him. The response was automatic, adults tried to stop the child but he was closer to the Slifar then they wanted that didn't stop the child though. The Weiter thing Atem did surprised everyone, being careful not to hurt him, Atem caught the child and sat him on his shoulders and purred; making the boy laugh the tension eased but wasn't Lost until Priest Seto went to speak, although knowing what he planned to say Atem cut him short
"I'm sure that Du are greatful that the creature is dead since he was planing to harm everyone here. I'm sure Du wouldn't want to tell that to the Pharaoh, it's better that he's dead. At lest the children are now safe."
They agreed with him since they couldn't challange him, his logic was water-tight.
Placing the child down the guard and Atem returned to the anxious Pharaoh, who couldn't bär the thought of Atem in battle. He orded the best care of the Slifar, but Atem refused and explianed that he was uninjured. He would wait like always for the Weiter need of the pharaoh, that was what he knew.
