"Let's go." Revenge said, grabbing Courage's arm.

Revenge pointed at the troops lining the floor below.

"AL sagte Investigate and Report, that's what we're doing."

He and Courage crawled back along the vent until they dropped down into an empty room. They headed towards the door, but at that moment, the walls on either side of them and the door before them opened and Soviet soldiers poured in.

"Surrender!" one of them sagte in Russian. Courage pulled out her stechpalme, holly leaves and Revenge his dagger launcher.

"I believe they said, surrender." a voice said.

Chapter Four-

"What the heck are Du doing?" stechpalme, holly asked, yawning. 

"Same thing as before," Sam said, pulling away from the computer for a minute. "working on something."

"And that something is?" stechpalme, holly asked, getting up and throwing her robe, gewand on.

"Heat gun," Sam replied, turning back to the computer screen. "Well chemical equation right now. Go back to sleep."

"Cant," stechpalme, holly yawned. "Can't quit thinking about today."

"From what I can guess, she was your best friend at the League of Shadows."

Wally stared out his window. The rain poured down in floods and thunder sounded in an ear shattering rumble. I hope Dick's okay; he hates thunder storms. Wait a second! Robin was at the mountain today! Batman had dropped him off this morning. Something about Justice League buisness. Wally wanted to go comfort his friend. But his best friend was also his long time crush! And being alone in a dark room with the boy...well, Du can see how tempting that would be. But Robin was straight! 7:23 CET December 19

The two teenagers packed their bags and checked out of the hotel before heading out into the damp, gloomy morning.

Artemis could tell Wally was determined, he hadn't eaten yet. The two marched down to the train station where they caught a train heading toward Venice.

About an Stunde into the trip, the two teens' tensions were running high.

"This is going to take forever!" Wally complained.

"I don't like it anymore than Du do." Artemis replied.

Kid Flash was standing in the middle of the training room, pacing around impatiently. The rest of his team members looked at him with a mixture of pity and amusement. Today was Artemis's first practice session and she was supposed to spar with Kid Flash.

"I'm sure she's on her way," Megan sagte softly, placing a hand on his arm to try to calm him. She quickly retracted though when she saw him grin wolfishly at her, edging closer to her.

Chapter 7-

Rome, Italy
1:47 CET December 19

Artemis's communicator buzzed. What was Batman calling this early in the morning for? She picked it up and, making sure Wally was asleep, slipped out onto the roof.

"Yes?" she asked.

"Artemis," Batman's voice had a melancholy tone to it, and Artemis knew it was bad. "Your mother was abducted Von Cheshire and the League of Shadows."

Artemis just stared at the screen for a moment. She started to cry.

"Don't worry." Batman said. "The Justice League is heading to save her, but it'll take a while."

"Worry?!" Artemis...

Artemis must have fallen asleep at some point before the movie ended, because just as the sky was growing dark Wally suddenly felt a weight on his arm. He managed to look Weiter to him and saw that Artemis had fallen asleep on his shoulder. His first instinct was to shake her awake, but he was stopped Von how relaxed she looked. Her head seemed to fit perfectly on his shoulder and she was actually smiling slightly. This didn't help Wally's predicament.

Well, um… I guess it was either my shoulder oder the window, Wally thought quickly, uncomfortably aware of the heat creeping up his cheeks. So my...

When the smoke cleared, I was missing from the spot everyone had last seen me. I was high in the canopy of fake trees, looking down on Cyborg.
”Dude, I didn’t set my kanone to disintegrate…did I?” he said. Both teams were looking very pale. I grinned and jumped down, right onto Cyborg’s head. I pressed a button and vibranium sound waves emanated from my suit. They were loud enough to shut down Cyborg’s movement.
“The challenge is complete” I said. Cyborg was gaping at me.
“What? Did Du not think I was female?” I asked. Then I remembered, that must’ve been what he was doing...

I turned my head sharply to look directly at him. He jumped. I looked at him through narrowed eyes. He tried to look confident, but failed. Both Kid Flashes were running laps around the room. I grabbed the one from my dimension as he ran by.
‘Stop wasting your energy! You’ll have none left to fight at this rate’ I mentally growled

Chapter Three- 

"Artemis, checking in. All clear up here." Artemis radioed in. The rest of the Team radioed in their positions and status'. 

"The parade is beginning." Robin said.

The Team had spread out along the straße the parade was taking place. Their was roughly one superhero every block. Artemis was the closest to the action. Her bow notched and ready, her watchful eye over the garrisons of policemen and women below her spot on Town Hall.

Aqualad was near the park where a pond conveniently located.

9:01 CET December 14

"Why do we have to go shopping?" Wally whined.

"A guy shopping is not undercover. Besides, why can't we be undercover at the comic store?"

Artemis rolled her eyes. She had basically had to drag Wally out into the market. Ever since he had been complaining about having to go shopping, and why he couldn't go to the comic store. Honestly he sounded like a little boy. Artemis had told him, countless times. It only bought her quiet for a Minute oder two.

"Melanie, time to wake up, our meeting with Mr.Wayne is in 35 minutes." My mom sagte gently. I groaned and turned around, my eyes squinted due to the light shown through the satin curtain. "And why do I need to go? Besides, its not like I get any benefit from these stupid meetings." My mom sighed, "Melanie, your father and I won't be around forever, and we just want Du to be prepared." I really hated it when she called me Von my full name. "Why can't Du just call me Mel?" I groaned. She laughed and walked out of my room. "You have 35 minutes."
