The plan was simple, break into groups and get out. I was partnered with Robin, Artemis was with Kid Flash, Miss Martian was with Superboy. (Of course!) Thanks to the super small keyhole that Artemis found, I could easily pick the lock and get us out. And I did. The door was sealed so tightly that it looked basically invisible when it was closed. When opened, it lead to a long, never-ending hallway. We all stepped out and I turned on my ear com that Robin had gegeben me earlier. Everyone had one also, we synced them so that we could communicate to meet up when we got out safe, sicher and sound. "Ok, so KF and I will go this way." Artemis motioned toward a door to her right. "We'll go that way." Miss Martian looked toward a door farther down the hallway. "Well, I guess Echo and I will take the one at the end of the hall." Robin looked at me and shrugged. I laughed a little, "Yes, because in all of the horror movies, the door at the end of the mysterious hallway is always the best way to go!" I sagte sarcastically. Then we double checked the ear coms, and went our separate ways. "Everything good so far?" I asked as Robin opened the door quietly, which opened into a large factory-like warehouse room. We both ducked behind a large pillar. "All good here." Superboy replied. "Just peachy." Artemis sagte with a bored tone. In the background i could hear Kid Flash saying, "And Robin doesn't even..." I smiled and looked at Robin, because I knew he could hear it too, his face was filled with interest and confusion. "Haha, ok well we're in some kind of factory. See Du when we get out." Robin looked at me, "What did KF mean-" I put up a hand up to stop him, "I. Don't. Know. Just let him be him. Com'on, lets go get out of here." I reached up to grab my halskette for good luck, then remembering that I gave it to Artemis to keep it safe. The bad guys probably knew that I would be the one with the stone, somehow. "I see a way out!" Robin whispered. "It looks clear, com'on!" He started to run. I glanced around one last time. I took a sharp gasp and tensed up when I saw 2 shadows standing on one of the balconies. "Robin!" I screamed. Instinctively I ran, leaving myself vulnerable. But I didn't care. I giant strahl, ray of blue-green light shot from the balcony and hit him. Another strahl, ray was shot, I summersaulted and it just narrowly missed me. I could hear the worried cry from the others through my com. When I reached Robin, he was very shallowly breathing and laying on the ground. But I let my guard down, and a piercing pain hit my arm and I fell over. The pain slowly spread to the rest of my body. I groaned and slowly closed my eyes until the world went black.
