You should keep doing it if you like it. Or if you don't like it, you don't have to. Whichever you want, you should do.

Hey. Lemme tell you something, hun. You do what you feel is best. If you enjoy writing, do it. Don't let anyone or anything break your confidence....You write well, I've read some of your articles. Even if you don't always get comments or something doesn't mean people don't read them .... Your OCs live through your stories... Kareem, Ari, Jake, and many of your others are born and made though such. Never stop writing unless you, yourself, decide to...don't let others make that decision or push you toward one just because you feel like no one likes them....

anyway. I'm off my soapbox...I think you should keep writing, but that's my opinion (:

Practice practice practice. Even if it's little things - putting out bios with histories/appearances longer than a couple lines, writing about a kid who likes to hit people with a stick of pepperoni, describing everyday things in excruciating detail.. anything. Literally everything you write will help you get to the point where you can be proud of what you write, help you say "yes, I'm happy with this, I'm going to post it and feel good about it".

Even if you get shit for comments, writing something and putting it out there will help you tremendously. Trust me, you might put out what you feel is your best work ever and not get any comments. It hurts. But it's o-k-a-y. It's not about comments or even people liking it (though that feels great), it's about telling a story you feel is worth being told. Live, breathe, and feel your writing, but separate yourself from it too. Because your writing is not you. It is a story you have told, not the story you are living or even a story you will like the day after. It's just important that you enjoy writing and putting yourself out there. If you aren't enjoying it, then you should really consider why and if it would be beneficial to stop. If you want to stop, stop.

(not going to lie. I can't hold a candle to what they said but even when I feel down about my stuff I still do it because I want to, and that's what's important so I'm just going to say "follow your heart" it'll never lie to you)
