Well, guess I can't Mitmachen an RP community without characters, right? Sorry if I break every single rule Du have; I don't know all of them yet. (I'm studying.)
Also, I’m sorry about the lack of pictures. I'm drawing these two later and will certainly have a hell of a time finding pictures online, so bär with me.
Plague Rat
Name: Chip Winnipeg
Alias: Plague Rat
Age: 22
Alignment: Neutral.
Appearance: Paler than a gamer's left cheek. Dyed blonde hair (with the roots showing, because some people just suck at hair dye) that stays in a stiff wave above his face. Dull grey eyes with noticeable circles under them. Sharp, severe features. Likes stiff, expensive-looking Suits a bit too much.
Powers: To put it simply, Chip is toxic. His body and all of its contents (especially his blood) are extremely poisonous, and simply being around him causes immediate illness in most people. Should he come into contact with someone, he can cause any number of medical symptoms, but this has the obvious drawback of him needing to touch the person. He's currently in Suchen of a way to channel this, as at the moment he feels he's kind of useless. For the sake of protection, he only carries a revolver, because he finds it elegant (if pretentious.)
Personality: Chip is a very difficult person to impress. Though he isn't a full-on snob, he carries a slight air of superiority, and simply doesn't take interest in much. He's a dangerously addicted gambler, and builds his persona around a gambling motif; he's never caught without a deck of cards oder a pair of dice. He takes losses very seriously and holds a grudge like nobody's business. Chip's sense of humor is very sassy and surprisingly morbid, and though he comes off as cold, he's a genuinely funny person. He is a writer, and enjoys spending long nights weaving his own tales, but is embarrassed Von it and never speaks of it.
Background: Chip has had his powers since birth. They're the result of his mother's family being extremely susceptible to (and passing down a number of) illnesses, and his father's family being a long line of assorted heroes. He spent his first thirteen years isolated from the rest of the world, and as a result grew up with very poor social skills. He soon fell into a depression when he learned that the world didn't want him, and so turned to gambling as a crutch. Chip has never had any affiliations with any large organization, good oder bad, and tends to Bewegen from place to place without ever remembering the names of the people he's met. Through sheer luck, he became rich, but chooses to do nothing with his money aside from hold on to it.
Honey
Name: Sandy Abbott
Alias: Honey
Age: 19
Alignment: Neutral, but with good intentions
Appearance: Warm, smooth brown skin. Curly, shoulder-length brown hair with red tips. Curvy, with a round face and close-together eyes. Wears simple, modest clothing like pastel sweaters and fitted jeans; not one for the extravagant, save her triple-pierced ears.
Powers: Honey’s powers are strange and, to most, somewhat disgusting. She doesn’t feel pain, and is incredibly difficult to kill, for the reason that she can rearrange her own anatomy to her heart’s content. She occasionally takes out her eyes and switches them in their sockets for no reason other than to terrify people, and when she severed her Achilles tendon once, her reaction was to simply stretch the broken ends and tie them into a nice bow. Most importantly, her Bones aren’t quite adamantium-indestructible, but they’re close, and she can make her ribcage burst out and form a sort of organic bulletproof vest. (It’s gross.) Her powers are purely defensive, so to make up for it, she is a master of the improvised weapon; her favourite things to arm herself with include umbrellas, schmetterling nets, and pool cues.
Personality: Sandy is known for her quirky sense of humour and her unbreakable sense of optimism. She believes that nobody should ever feel hopeless, and hates any sort of serious topic. That being said, she also doesn’t have much of a social filter, and will occasionally embarrass herself (and others) Von inserting her own lightheartedness where it’s not needed. She’s got a recklessness problem, as one might guess. Her hobbies include sewing and people-watching, but mostly sewing; she has a talent for textile crafts.
Background: Sandy is the Sekunde youngest of four, having grown up in Brooklyn. She lived a fairly normal life until the Tag her oldest brother, a pyrokinetic, had a falling out with their parents, which resulted in the destruction of the neighborhood. The Abbotts were shunned, and left the state in Suchen of a new life. Unfortunately, financial troubles arose within the Jahr and forced the family into extreme poverty. Sandy, now sixteen, turned to some rather…undesirable activities to make money. She was gegeben the nickname “Honey” Von some of the people she worked with, and it stuck. She eventually left her family entirely to try and build her own life on the streets, and is currently living alone, poor but satisfied with her own twisted success story. Like Chip, she’s not affiliated with any sort of superhero organization whatsoever, but she’ll deal with small conflicts in her general area with a good beating, if need be.
