He slipped through the vent system silently. He kicked out the grate, dropping into his room. Slipping on his gloves, he eyed the Musik box that sat on the nightstand. He grabbed his ring, slipping it onto his thumb. A silver band, and a sapphire in the middle. The sapphire was surrounded Von small diamonds, that sparkled in the light.
"Police! Come out with your hands up!" He heard. The door knob rattled. He quickly grabbed the backpack, and jumped into the vent as the door flew in.
