When I first met him, I could not comprehend anything… why he was here, where he was from, what had happened to his eye… my name is Nora Fushigi, I am sixteen years old and I live with my little sister, Bloom, in a mansion in England. The Jahr is 1940. World War II was going on then, so I called for Bloom to come live with me out in the country because I was worried about her in the big, huge city of London. When she got here, she was overly happy to see me. “Sissy,” she said, “I’m glad to see Du again!” Bloom is only six years old, and she still needs to learn some proper manners, but she is a kind young girl. “I’m glad to see Du as well, dear sister.” I say. Bloom smiles at me and hugs me tightly. “Would Du like some breakfast?” I asked her. She looked up at me. “Of course, sissy!” she sagte happily. I called my maid, Abby, to come and get my sister something to eat. “Yes Milady.” She sagte as she bowed. She walked away, going into the küche to cook a delicious breakfast. I hadn’t eaten today either, so she was making breakfast for two people. As I walked upstairs with Bloom, I began talking to her. “So have Du heard anything from mother and father?” I asked. “No.” she shook her head at me, “Mummy and daddy don’t want anything to do with us.” “That’s not true,” I protested, “They Liebe us. They are just too far away. They are in America, Du know. It’s too risky to try and come to England right now. World War II is causing some major problems with them.” Bloom nodded. “I understand that,” she said, “But we are their children… they left us in the most dangerous place. Why didn’t they take us with them?” I looked down at her. She was so cute when she was sad… I began to feel bad for her all over again. “Don’t worry about it,” I say, “Everything’s going to be okay.” Bloom nodded and hugged me once again. I opened the door to her room and her eyes lit up. She had been in a private school before, one where Du live at to get proper education for wealthy children, but they did not have such big rooms… they had rooms that Du would have to share with two other girls. I don’t know if Bloom fitted in there oder not, but I knew she was happy to be back. “I Liebe this room!” she exclaimed. She ran inside and flopped onto her bed. “Thank Du sissy,” she said, “Thank you!” I had never seen her so happy before. She was always happy, but even less now that our parents were in America and they had no way to get to us… it was sad. Watching her trying to be happy, when Du knew, on the inside, she was hurting. Abby walked in with her hands behind her back, and she bowed politely. “Maladies,” she sagte quietly, “Breakfast is ready. If Du would like to come down and eat, then breakfast will be waiting for you.” Abby walked back downstairs again, in her feminine manner; the way she always walked. Lightly on her tiptoes as if not to disturb me. I think she is afraid of me. She gets a little shy and skittish around me, but that’s normal for a maid I guess. “Do Du want to go eat now?” I asked Bloom. “No,” she said, “I want to stay here. With you, sissy. All Tag long.”
This is for all the kids who are bullied Von words. My teachers always say be bleacher people. Lift others up. I hope this poem gives that message to others.
Du yell at me
mean words.
They
pierce my heart.
I say its ok.
I Bewegen on.
But the words
still have power.
They still hurt
me.
My friends
tell me
its a big deal,
and that I
need to tell
a teacher.
But I say im fine.
Im really not.
I want to
believe
that im fine,
I want to
believe that
it was
nothing.
But it was
something.
Words always
have power.
Enough power to
strike me
down,
oder lift
me up.
Why must
Du hurt
me?
Du yell at me
mean words.
They
pierce my heart.
I say its ok.
I Bewegen on.
But the words
still have power.
They still hurt
me.
My friends
tell me
its a big deal,
and that I
need to tell
a teacher.
But I say im fine.
Im really not.
I want to
believe
that im fine,
I want to
believe that
it was
nothing.
But it was
something.
Words always
have power.
Enough power to
strike me
down,
oder lift
me up.
Why must
Du hurt
me?
The Weiter day, Meggan woke up at home.Another wolf like demons sat at the foot of her bed.She rubbed her eyes, it was still there."Wh- who are YOU?"Meggan asked scaredly."I'm Outsider."The demon said, then it wandered around.Every step it made shook the ground a bit.He walked through the wall, and didn't come back.
I live in my opinion possibly the most ghetto town in the United States, Pittsburgh. People have been committing suicide all over town. Population all over town has been decreasing, fast. Some of my Friends were so depressed that they were thinking about "joining the crowd". I wouldn't live without my friends. I don't want my Friends to go as well as my mom and dad. Yes, I'm an orphan. I've been an orphan for about three weeks. My Friends have disappeared. I think they went to Clarion; but I could be wrong. There have been tons of fights at my school. Most of the people that were committing suicide were middle school and high school aged. I was getting really tired really fast. I climbed up in a baum and found a comfortable spot and fell asleep. Weiter thing I knew, I was tied up on a pole.
