Who’s it?”
Facing the door, Jamie sagte back to him, “It’s me, Jamie.” After telling him that, Jamie heard some groaning behind the door and right away, she knew that Michael had might be annoyed at her because Michael doesn’t liked when people starting banging at his door and get disturbed from he was doing Von them. The moment she heard that groaning, Jamie really wanted to ask him to opened the door and let her in so she can see if he’s okay with everything oder not. To do that, Jamie knocked on the door again to see if he’s still there and listening to her and in return, Michael yelled at her, “What do Du want from me, Jamie?”
“Get me in so I can see Du is I wanted from you.” answered Von Jamie. Sekunden after hearing that from his wife, Michael sighed loudly from inside the room and sagte to her, “Fine, then. Du can come in. The door was unlocked.” When Michael told her to come in, Jamie sagte to him but mostly to herself, “Thank you.” While putting her hand on the doorknob, turning it around, opened the door, and got inside.
Once she got the den, the whole room was dark and in the dark, Jamie looked around the room to see where Michael is at. All four walls of the room had stacked with kirsche wood bookcases filled with Bücher ranging from Charles Dickens to Hemingway to John Grisham, large Foto albums that filled with pictures of the family all the way from Michael and her great-grandparents to all the way down to their very own. There were many cherish items from Michael’s life like his sport trophies, framed diplomas that he was proud of and earned since Grade School and to keep their two little girls happy, Michael had their drawings they made for him framed which is now on the shelves and walls, covered with dust right now.
In the middle of the room was his schreibtisch which is filled with papers he had drew on his sketches for one of his many side projects which is building furniture made out of wood for their Home and other people. His designs were amazing to looked at and when it was time to make them for real, Michael had putted so much faith and time into those that the furniture had become Mehr beautiful in real life which is right now, it was really one of the few things he like to do for the past few months beside not wanting to be with his wife and kids.
Weiter to his schreibtisch was the big green suede easy chair that he loves since he brought it at a flea market for only $20. He told Jamie that Tag when he brought that chair that the moment he sat on that chair, it was one of the most comfortable things he ever sat on and it makes he felt good about himself which was that very moment, Michael was sitting on it with a soft flannel blanket covering him and an opened book on his lap but he wasn’t Lesen the book at all, he was just staring into space.
Jamie founded him sitting there and wanting their Liebe to come back again, she walked behind the green chair, put her arms around his shoulders, and smoothing his neck and stubbles on his face while saying to him in a soft and sweet voice, “Morning, Baby. How Du are feeling right now?”
Without turning around and staring at those pale blue eyes of her with his brown ones, Michael told her in a low voice that he just got a bad dream about Iraq, gave him the creeps, and went to his höhle, den to be safe. Hearing that, still with her arms around his neck, Jamie kissed his neck, jaw, and a bit of his right ear, she asked him if he can talk to her about it so she can see if she can help him out with it to make it better for him.
There was another silence between them when she asked him that but it was broken when Michael turned to her for the first time, stared at her with those empty brown eyes again like always and answered her Frage Von saying to her, “No, Jamie. Du can’t help me out with it. Not this time.”
Wanting to help him right now but can’t because her husband told her that he didn’t wanted her help right now, Jamie asked him another question. “When is the time for me to help you?” The moment he heard that, Michael answered her Frage Von saying to her, “I don’t know, Jamie. Probably soon but now, can Du leave the höhle, den right now? I would like to be alone.”
“Like always!” thought Von Jamie when she heard that line many times before this and wanting her husband that she cares about him and loves him, Jamie kissed him on the cheek and told him that if he wanted some breakfast oder something, she will be making pfannkuchen for the girls this morning and there will be a cup of coffee waiting for him. “How that feels, Honey?”
In return, Michael didn’t say a word to her about it; he just gave her a nod and went back to his curtain covered window he was staring at before. Jamie saw that, sighed to herself again for knowing that she did another unsuccessful job of getting him to come back to her. Jamie was wondering when he will turn to her again and telling her that he loves her and there will be a little clearing of hope in his eyes and everything will go back to normal when she heard the tiny footsteps of their daughters, walking to the küche for some breakfast. Jamie knew that she had to go and begin to walked out of the höhle, den to take care of Mac and Izzie and get little Jake out of his room and into the küche where she will be right here in waiting for Michael to come back.

I come Home and their fighting.
I hate it! I want to tell them to stop.
But I cant, because Im stuck in the middle.
They tug me, playing with me.
I cant handle the pain!
When I go to school no one can see my pain.
I fake my happiness.
I want to go hide in a corner and cry.
But I cant.
Because no one lends a shoulder to cry on.
My Friends dont understand!
I come Home again, and my parents pull me.
Ripping my herz like a angry raven.
My siblings, they... they... leave me there. Alone.
I feel alone.
Deserted.
No where I feel happy.
Because Im alone.
Why cant anyone see?
Why cant my parents stop fighting?
Why cant my Friends lend a hand?
Why cant my siblings pull me to my feet?
Why am I alone?
I hate it! I want to tell them to stop.
