Schreiben Frage

This will probably sound really dumb but is there any tricks to getting over writer's block?

-no Antwort like "DUH...", please-

I don't know if it's writers block, exactly, Mehr I don't know an effective way to opening the story... I guess that is writers block then...

actually, it's not a stupid Frage at all. It's a reasonable question. Du want to know how to get over Writer's Block, and so Du ask here, that's all well and good.
Well I read somewhere that the best thing to do is to just write. Doesn't have to be anything good, it can be any kind of rubbish, like "The ente and the dog ate the cat and then died in a shoe." oder anything. Du could also read over what you've already written, for example, I don't know about Du but I've got a thousand notebooks, most of them full with little paragraphs and extracts and ideas, and I read over them and try again.
Du always eventually get over writer's block. Think of Schreiben like a mountain. When Du progress with Schreiben Du climb up and up but sometimes Du come to a flat bit and Du need to just walk along that for a bit until Du go up again. Some of these flat parts of the mountain can get longer and therefore it takes longer for Du to progress. Sometimes it even dips down a little, but Du always manage to carry on climbing and get back up. The thing about this mountain is that it never ends, because there is always room for improvement, and Du can always progress.

What i do when i end up in a situation like that i write down the rest of the story and then it comes to me later oder i just go to Foren and places like Fanpop and hope for some inspiration some times watching a movie, reading a book, your own experiences can help. i had a similar problem several months Vor and it came to me when i was doing NaNoWriMo working on another novel. Just write down your ideas and come back to it later oder write the rest of the story and figure out the beginning later it usually works at least for me.

Whenever I have writers block, I just force myself to write (like I'm doing on my other computer right now) even if I don't want to. It works for me.

For me its usually a sign that I've been Schreiben too much lately and I've hit a Wand so I tend to just stop. I put my pen down (providing whatever I've wanted to write about but couldn't is noted down somewhere so I don't forget lol)and do anything but write.
I listen to music, play a game on the internet, oder watch TV until I can get my inspiration back. That oder I end up drawing. Well, scribbling, what I draw couldn't exactly be called drawing (its rubbish in other words xD).
Anyway, in short, it just means I need to relax usually, so I do.
Hope I helped :)
