Villain turned ally?

I like when it's subtle.

Not like your worst enemy becomes your best friend and would do anything for you.

I prefer when they make subtle gestures. Something they wouldn't have done before, but nothing that would indicate the two are now friends.
Something like the villain turned ally has his oder her head turned away while helping out, because they don't really want to do it, but it's right.

It's A Lovely Thought And I Think I Will Be Seeing That In The Not Too Distant Future.

i likes it cuz, with villains, i always like 2 try and think of y they became a villain. like Black Heart. *snicker* i had an entire new story for y he became a bad dude.

I think it's really interesting, but I also think it's really hard to do. It's a difficult type of character. Du have to describe all the conflict, thoughts and reasons that led the villain to turn into an ally, and sound realistic and believable at the same time... Which is pretty much of a challenge in my opinion.

I find it hard to describe villains, period. Du need to find out why they are what they are, etc.

It can be done, in some situations I like it, in some others I liked the charcater better as a bad guy. It depends on the seting, Du be the judge.

But make sure there's a reason and I find it Mehr believable if its not doen overnight, Du can't change your virtues in one night of sleep.
