"I drove the U-Haul down and never left," sagte the actor in an interview with Media Blvd Magazine.
morgan got the Schauspielen bug after playing a killer pimp in Roger Corman’s movie, Dillinger and Capone. Appearing in different shows during the nineties, morgan had a couple of slow years where he had a few guest-star roles and some movies.
Then the role of John Winchester came up on The WB’s hit series Supernatural (starring Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki). What started as a possible recurring role had turned into eight solid episodes in Season 1 and carried over into Season 2. Although it is yet to be seen whether John Winchester will make a comeback in Supernatural’s third season, there is no denying the appeal of the “Papa Winchester” as he is affectionately known Von the fans.
While on his way to Canada to shoot Supernatural, morgan had already been cast for the role of Judah Botwin in Showtime's Weeds, as well as securing the role of Denny Duquette in ABC's hit Zeigen Grey's Anatomy. During his meeting with Shonda Rhimes (Grey's creator) and Peter Horton (co-executive producer), morgan was suffering from flu and was asked if he could act sick all the time. Apparently he could.
After receiving an offer for Grey's Anatomy, morgan was also offered a role in Oliver Stone's World Trade Center, which he turned down. Not clear on all the details concerning Grey's, morgan found himself playing Dr. Isobel Stevens' (Katherine Heigl) Liebe interest.
In between pilots, morgan shot an independent film, Jam, opposite Marianne Jean-Baptiste, William Forsythe, Tess Harper, Jonathan Silverman, Amanda Detmer and Alex Rocco. He is also co-starring with Michele Hicks, Ever Carradine, Orlando Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Sarah Shahi, Brooke Adams and Tony Shalhoub in the upcoming movie The Adventures of Beatle Boyin, which is in its production phase.
Denny's death in Grey's Anatomy's Sekunde season finale was not the end of morgan and Rhimes' working relationship, as Rhimes was quick to cast him as one of the leading roles to her new, and still untitled, show: a drama about four female journalists from different media who travel the country. Since the announcemnt, there has been no news with regard to the as-yet untitled ABC project.
In June 2006 morgan shot a comedy along side Lisa Kudrow and Teri Garr, called Kabluey.
morgan was cast for the role of Daniel in a film based on Cecilia Ahern's novel P.S., I Liebe You. The cast also includes Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler, Kathy Bates, Lisa Kudrow, Gina Gershon and James Marsters. The film was shot in the United States and Ireland.
In addition, morgan has three exciting new projects on the horizon: The Accidental Husband, Days of Wrath and Watchmen.

A relative newcomer to the paranormal-teen drama scene, the hit TV Zeigen Supernatural has already developed a rabid and deeply committed Fan base since its debut in the fall of 2005. When their dad mysteriously disappears, brothers Dean and Sam Winchester Mitmachen forces to bring him Home and are pulled headlong into the world he knew best-one full of demons, spirits, monsters, and ghouls. Featuring essays from three lucky Fans as well as leading writers and pop culture experts, this insightful anthology sheds light on a variety of issues, including why such a male-centric Zeigen has such a large female Fan base, "Wincest" and homoeroticism, how Supernatural can be interpreted as a modern-day Brothers Grimm, and the questionable nature of John Winchester's parenting habits.
