Terry
When Ian came down to breakfast Weiter morning he looked horrible. Like he hadn't closed his eyes oder even half-slept. He was pale as a ghost and he wasn't blinking, just starring at the bowl of mais flakes Mum had put at his place, like he was trying to convince himself to eat.
-Ian what's wrong? I asked from besides him.
-You look absolutely drained. Like you'd just... Oh my God, Du used a spell didn't you? Sia said.
-Well...
-Ian!
-Lay off Sia, it was one spell. I said.
-Terry, we don't know how theese things work. They might have to kill somebody to work, they might create a werewolf at every spell or...
-They might make midget twin sisters nervous? I suggested. Ian didn't even smile. That wasn't like him. He laughed at anything.
-Ian, what's wrong? He looked around.
-Mum's in the kitchen, Hannah's already at the Shop and Jose is at the university. Nobody'll hear. Sia said.
-Last night, I did a memory spell. To, Du know, when my parents died. This time it actually worked. And... And then I saw. It wasn't a freak car accident. It was Sirius. The werewolf.
I felt my herz skip a beat oder two. It was always a sensitive point for me. Being a werewolf. I hated the man who'd done it to me with all my heart. Actually, it wasn't a man. Something that could go and bite a Lost kid wasn't human. It was an animal.
I was a midget. I've always been short for my age, unlike gigantor Sia. I'd been walking around in the forest for ages, trying to find Sia and Ian. I sat down on a rock and starred at the trees. Night was falling and I was tired. I thought it was my imagination when I saw two emeralds glowing side Von side between two trees. I got up, turned my back on the illusion and walked back into the forest. Then, something leaped over my head and landed in front of me. A wolf the size of a minivan, pure white, smaragd eyed, was standing in front of me. I tried to yell for help. Sia, Ian, anybody. But then it pinned me to the ground and bit my arm. At that point I could yell. The wolf didn't leave me at a bite. He was digging in my arms. Finally the beams of two flashlights swooped around the place and the wolf yelled something in Arabic oder German before runing off. I got up and I was a werewolf. Black furr, blue eyes. That's how Ian and Sia found me.
That night was the worst of my life. I felt like somebody had put acid on my arms every place the wolf's fangs had met my skin and where the wolf's furr had touched me tingled incomfortably. Mum drived me to the hospital at 3 in the morning. They couldn't do anything. They gave me their painkillers, which helped about as much as Mum's Home remedies. They finally put me in a drug enduced sleep. I stayed in there for 7 days, waking up every 5 hours. Sia and Ian didn't ratte me out. It was my secret. They weren't allowed to tell it.
So then I hear that Ian's parents, Tessa and Amos DeLawny, were killed Von this thing because he wanted Ian, my best friend. I'm not good at keeping my calm, but even Sia looked mad at this one.
-That thing can't stay in the city. I said.
-What are Du talking about Terry? Sia asked. She was wearing a black dress, gloves that looked like fishnets and flats. She'd even re-died the 3 tomato-red streaks in her hair. Her idea of dressing up to play Mozart and Bethoven Musik for hundreds of people at the art center. I'd forgotten she had a Piano recital this morning.
-We need that thing away. Away from people, away from cities.
-And how are Du planning on making that happen? Sia asked.
-I'll beat him in a fight. If he's got any sense he'll run away in shame after getting beaten Von a 12 Jahr old.
-And if he doesn't? Ian asked.
-I'll do everything until he does.
-Everything? Sia asked.
-I'm either going to kill him, oder go down trying.
-Sia, car's leaving in 10 Minuten whether you're in it oder not! Mum called from the kitchen. Sia shot me a "deal with this later" look and left the kitchen.
-Break a leg! Ian called.
